Sunday serves up a trio of Gameweek encounters, with Thursday’s Europa League ties pushing Hull and Tottenham’s home fixtures alongside Man United’s trip to the Stadium of Light.

Events begin at the KC Stadium and White Hart Lane, with Steve Bruce’s Hull hosting Stoke and Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs facing a London derby clash with QPR. Fantasy managers will be focused mainly on the latter, with Christian Eriksen the top owned asset on show from the early kick-offs.

Attention then turns to the North East, with Louis van Gaal’s United outfit taking on Sunderland in a bid to get their season underway following the opening day defeat to Swansea. With a staggering 48% ownership, Wayne Rooney remains the headline act, while Juan Mata’s 19% ownership will be holding out for returns in order to stem a tide of sales that have already seen the Spanish playmaker drop in price.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Are you guys REALLY going to keep Rooney and Mata?

It's very difficult to say, really. I, too, wonder how the ball could have gone through Mata's feet. It may be just the timing of the tackle that makes it look like an own goal. Has happened before.

siggurdson was rising, is 3m cheaper, and united are rubbish. Don't regret selling him, regret starting with a side with so many holes. I don't think there's value in the strikers this season. Just gone with the ones at the top teams.

people on here aren't seriously down on Eriksen are they?

he was unlucky to not join in on the goalfest today and he is the engine in their attack, without him, the lamelas and chadlis and adebayors of the team would be a shell of what they were today.

you saw eriksen smash that FK off the bar, you know he's gonna bag goals, get BPs and be a generally solid fantasy performer this season barring injury.

Eriksen is fine, and if I had a free FT to switch him to Lamela, I wouldnt.

Fair enough, but it's certainly not paranoia. An ability to look at things from another perspective in this case with a little bit of factual history may stop you falling into the the massive ignorant arrogance trap that many fall into. This is not a dig but just an observation over the years, until certain facts are pointed most non'-Scots are oblivious to why we may have an apparent 'chip'.
Hay ho, not the place for this and as I say , not a dig either.

I may still make the Fabregas change but would have had to take a hit to get him in for Mata this week. It wouldn't have paid off.

I think a 4-4-2 diamond would still work fine. Or 4-3-3. LvG will probably get back to that if this match ends badly. It's just a question of how will he play Mata, RVP, ADM and Shrek at once. Maybe in 4-2-3-1 with Mata on right and Roo behind the striker?
