    Krul
    Terry Clyne Chester
    Mata Siggy Sterling Ramsey
    Rooney Diego Costa Jovetic

    Foster Marney Caulker Hutton

I have 1 FT. How do I get Fabregas in there? One player I desperately want right now. Would Mata out for him, for a hit, be silly? I really think Fab will score well this week but Mata could match him.

I would do Mata > Fab. Not sure if its worth a hit though.

Because of price changes there's a 0.3 swing on it already. One possible route is Foster > 4.0 and then Mata > Fab (-4). Or I could get out Jovetic for Naismith to fund it and have cash to get in Aguero at a later stage...

Keep Mata for QPR, then react. If you want Fab so badly, then maybe downgrade Jovetic and take out Marney?

Wouldn't be able to afford it mate. Jovetic > 4.5 only allows me to get a 8.0 midfielder in for Marney.

So Costa is definitely going up 0.1, if not 0.2.....Rooney looks to be definitely going down at least 0.1m...have i got that right?

Rooney captain fail but up from 206,428 to 13,860 made up with that only Ramsey left though so will fall in rank tomorrow. Not trying to brag played this game long enough to know a bad week next time out and I will tumble down the ranks again. Just really happy with the leap in rank.

Alright, since I was convinced yesterday to do Costa>Jovetic and CAPTAIN HIM as well as start Dummett I'll probably have a seizure any second now, so Jove>Costa and Berahino>Naismith with 2.4 ITB for -4 pts?
    Lloris (Gilks)
    Debuchy Cahill Clyne (Dummett) (Chester)
    Siggy Ramsey Sterling Hazard (Cattermole)
    Rooney Jovetic Berahino
I just want to get this decision over with and not look back on the one that has costed me 20 points and will be 2 free transfers.

Latest word from FISO Boffin on price tool:

"Unless something changes on the FPL site CTC will not be anywhere near as accurate as it has been (ditto for the other sites).

I plan to improve it as best I can so that it can serve as a guide but the margin of error will be quite high."

Thinking out loud, but these thoughts may help others in the same situation...

-I'm happy keeping 12 of my players for the gameweeks coming after the international break, assuming they stay fit and no last minute signings affect their spot in their teams.
-I'd like to keep a further two (Rooney and Mata) for their upcoming fixtures but worry they may each drop 0.2 or 0.3 over the lengthy break.
-I need to replace 1 cheap defender (Chambers) with another £4.5m def before he drops in price or the ideal replacement rises, unless Mert/Kos pick up an injury on international duty.
-I have 1 FT and no money banked.

If I had a bunch of players I was unhappy with I'd wildcard now, drop anyone who's about to fall in price and add them in again before the next deadline at the reduced value, but as I want to keep most of my squad a wilcard would be rather silly to save 0.4m or so on a couple of players.

I could keep Rooney, take a hit to drop Mata before he falls and use the FT on Chambers but I'd likely need to make the changes early and there's no guarantee replacements wouldn't get injured. I also feel after 2 weeks working together, with injuries eased, Man Utd should be stronger next gameweek and I can see both being amongst the points.

I'm leaning towards just keeping Rooney and Mata in and taking the price hits, even if they both drop £0.2m. I can then hold on to my FT as long as possible, keep an eye on Chambers' price and switch him out before that changes. Overall TV would likely drop a bit but I really think Rooney and Mata will bring points in over the coming weeks and a hit would be silly.

    Sensible or missing an opportunity?

        Kinda the same
My once run is the lack of accuracy from TotalFPL / Fiso
Feel like I could unnecessarily WildCard chasing money and not get the expected price rises /falls

        • 11 Years

it seems very sensible not to make sweeping changes unless you have to. I'm planning on keeping my WC for a dire emergency or hopefully a huge double GW. I'm trying my hardest to stick to my planned transfers and stacking two FTs for as much time as possible, Rooney Mata should pay off in the next few weeks but their points haul hasn't been amazing considering their easy start. I generally don't consider TV because a lot of picks are just flash in the pan.

I got rid of Dzeko for Ade this week, not just because I thought Dzeko wouldn't start, but to save myself from the forward rotation nightmare at City.

For what it's worth, I'd say Dzeko starts next game. But that's how it will always go: whoever doesn't perform, goes to the bench.
