I think he's good collateral for someone like Aguero, and easily reversed when Aguero gets injured/Rooney hits form.
Other than Phil Jones, who has served me well, the others have been a waste of space. Rooney captaining was a poor choice for me today (although not too worried about it, I didn't have any other huge options and it looked good at the time).

Rooney owners are you all sticking with him because of the good upcoming fixtures or had enough and shipping because of the rule - form over fixtures?
I need to get Costa back in my team and don't fancy shipping Aguero to get him in and my other striker is Ade which would mean tinkering with the rest of my team which I don't want to do.
I know Rooney could score well the next few GWs but his performances have been far from convincing and I can't see him outscoring Costa.

i knee-jerked Costa out and regretted it today. Not repeating that error, especially with QPR next up for Rooney. I'll have both next game week.
The thing what that is we knee jerked him out because of the injury rumour/scare. Nothing to do with performances and I don't know about you but I always planned to get him straight back in to my team.
Rooney has played lesser or equal opponents without scoring so its not like he's had one bad game. I think Man U will come good eventually but not just yet...

Changed to FPL? I'd make 3.
1) You can save as many transfers as you want and use them with no limitations. For example 5 weeks no transfers, 5 FT and if you use 2 you have 3 that roll on to the next week.
2) Vice captain. Half their score is added on to their score for the round. For example Costa gets 6 and he's your VC, you get 9.
3) 2 players per team

Number 2 not. It adds an extra edge having everything rest on just one player (captain). Gives the game a whole dimension, like this week the captains were so diverse.I'm not saying the game is flawed by the way. It's brilliant. Just suggestions for improvements.

Saving transfers up perhaps negates the wildcards a little? It also reduces the penalty associated with points hits, and could lead to much quicker price swings.
Adding half of the score of a V/C on is something that tempts me, as at the moment the V/C role seems almost redundant most weeks as I don't captain someone unless I'm sure of his starting place (as I'm sure most people do). However, it's something of an arbitrary way of adding more points to the game without any real new way of getting them. Not sure it would make too much of a difference in the end.I agree with Hervey above on point 2. I also think we maybe need new ways of the players winning points, rather than new ways for the manager to increase the already existing points.
It are stupid ideas, just to make things more easy. Everytime someone has an idea it's just making the game much easier. Number two is even more ridiculous than that the highest scoring player's points is added between C and VC.

To use "is" is just wrong, ok if he were awful in this particular game butin his first year in PL he sscored 3 and made 2 assists in just over 1000minutes, his second year hescored 6 and assisted 5 in abou 2500 minutes, this in a shitty team.....
