After kicking off our series of Big Numbers articles with a look at the best performing Defenders over the first three Gameweeks, we now move further up the pitch. This time round we focus on midfielders, with a trio of summer signings all showing plenty of promise in their new surroundings.
Does anyone know where this is from?

Thanks
it's on youtube
Is welbecks price protected?
No it shouldn't be.
No, but it shouldn't rise either.
Thanks
Thoughts?
Begovic (Krul)
Taylor Coloccini Wilson (Wisdom Moore)
Fabregas ADM Sterling Siggy (£4.9m)
Costa Falcao Balotelli
I am dropping Ramsey so no need to go there. Options are dropping Balotelli for Welbeck and spending an extra £3.1m on either an £8m 5th mid or bolster defence. (Pool defender)Ramsey essential

King ZlatanWhat do people think the chances are of:
A. Matas price falling tonight
B, starlings price rising tonightZero to both.
Definite?
Sell Rooney or Jovetic for Welbeck?
Currently got Costa, Rooney, Jov. Would like to get Welbz then upgrade Mutch and my other ST?Wait to see if Jovetic is fit
Jovetic dzeko likely to start v arsenal
How about this for now...
.Krul
Clyne. Ivanovic. Pva
Siggy. Fabregas. Sterling. Tadic
Costa. Falcao. BalotelliRisky with such a top heavy team. Leaves you short in MID and DEF. But some good picks.
I assume your bench does not exist though?Yea non-existent bench 4 4 4 4.5
Tadic will get my vote any day. I've been captioning him all week. I've been considering working towards the same team but without Ivan and Falcao instead of balo.
Would prob have Wilson over PVA too.
Best midfeld option for 5m:
A) Joey Barton
B) James Ward-Prowse
C) Rolando Aarons
?JWP looking good.
definitely A
What the...I clicked on Rio Ferdiands tweet to read what he thought about Danny Wellbeck leaving Man United and it took me to some Star+ website that you had to pay for, who is paying to read the Star?!
100% of all people that buy it every day.
"every time you see a rainbow, god is having gay sex with someone"
😆God is a hermaphrodite, by definition.
Wtf?
Obviously. 😀
No controversy there.
Just confusion then. 🙂
you 'erd
😆
i wont ask about double rainbows
😆
😆
Bemba seems to like Welbeck a lot more than he did a few weeks ago 😉
this. so many Arsenal fans changing their tune.
Strange ...
I lost count of hil 'lol at haters' posts tonight 😆
😯 Bilmey!!! 😀
*his
So do most Arsenal fans, it seems.
Short memories..Welbeck did really well when he deputised for RVP last year..other than that not quite so well when played out wide for the odd game..
Not the only Arsenal fan doing it. Quite a few....

:'(
Rooney, Jovetic, Mutch OUT
Welbeck, Aguero, JWP IN?Have you considered Joey Barton or Rolando Aarons instead of JWP?
Discuss.Barton a no from me, Aarons looks good but prefer JWP
if i had more faith in charlie austin to start putting away the chances, i'd go for barton.
His key passes stats alone since GW 1 have been fantastic.
However if Charlie Auston starts putting away chances, i might just get charlie austin.
0 competition for his place now really.ive got barton but he never gets a look in
he probably won't for me either with Ramsey-Siggy-Sterling-Fabregas ahead of him in midfield.
And a front 3 of Rooney-Costa-Welbeck.
But i still want to make the best choice available even for my sub spot.
PvA or N.Taylor?
Taylor
Which one?
A) Welbeck + Fab
B) Dzeko + Tadic
C) Adebayor + Tadic
D) Aguero + PowellA
right sort this out for me. 14.5m pick a mid and a striker.
A) - Balotelli & King
B) - Ramsey & Naismith - Current selection but so obvious and boring.
C) - ANY OTHER!
I have a mid of fab, di maria, sterling, siggy anyway.
Costa & Welbeck others up front.Clearly B.
OK so am I ok to do the following transfers now? No more chances of injury?
Mata and rooney to sterling and falcaoPlenty of time left for injuries.
why swap out rooney for falcao so quickly and spend 4 points to do so? Rooney has a nice game v QPR.
Falcao will likely start on the bench on sunday. And there will probably be one of Barton, Sandro or Karl Henry on the pitch with that knee of his...
There's always a chance if injury.
I see the Welbeck bandwagon has already started rolling. Good work sheeple, keep it up!
Quite liked Rooney's performance today, very unselfish in his play and that's probably how he's going have to be with the likes of Di María, Van Persie & Falcao in the line-up. He's not the big dog anymore and I should think he knows that now.
We know who the real. Big dog is
Lassie ?
The Littlest Hobo...
Not everyone wants to be the big dog
Quick question, what's happened to price rises?
There aren't many and you can't build team value over the international break if you're on a wildcard.yup. good news for all of us who kept our cards in our pocket 🙂
The wife decided to wc but I kept mine.
She's been moaning all week about the lack of price increases...Price unusual name for it but if that's what you call it
There are never many in the International break before the games are over
white division draft team:
Fabianski McGregor
PhilJones Trippier Kompany Moreno Dier
Ramsey Tadic Puncheon McGeady Schurlee
Aguero Weimann Welbeck
..pretty happy...Decent, midfield is a bit average, here's what I got in the Blue Division.
de Gea
Terry, Jagielka, Blind, Koscielny, Filipe Luís.
Hazard, Walcott, Coutinho, Zaha, Ward-Prowse.
van Persie, Benteke, Pellé, Ideye.
Quick question, any suggestions appreciated!
A) Costa & Wisdom (3-4-3)
Or
B) Di Maria & 5.4 defender (3-5-2)
Cheers! So a question for those considering Welbeck.
Who will you be having as your 5th mid? How much money are you willing to put into the 5th mid position? Welbeck would certainly add budget flexibility, and as a player who might not be in the lineup every week (depending on Sanchez playing up top), it seems like having a bigger hitter in the 5 spot might be smart.
Currently I'm on Jovetic, but was planning on adding Danny after the Chelsea match (might have to hop on earlier now from the looks of things), but I was eyeing up Zaha as my 5th at 5.4m. I think he has much more in the way of scoring/assist potential than JWP and the other 4.5/5.0m mid's that most currently have in their lineup now.
What do you think?Eye Zaha as your 4th mid..never mind 5th...
I have Zaha
zaha scored more goals last gw than JWP has in 50 prem apps. i'd be tempted to fok out the extra 0.4 if poss, especially so when his starting place becomes more known
It won't be this week, but i'm definitely getting him in sooner rather than later. Price protection should hold him until after saturday for me at least.
He'll score more goals in front of that Arsenal midfield than Giroud ever will. If Giroud was 6.9, this would be a no-brainer.
It is a no-brainer.
(Based entirely on my firm belief that he will go straight into the Arsenal first XI)he will be first choice no doubt about it.
And on a quick re-read of the original post,, that reply has absolutely nothing to do really with the question you asked.
I'm looking at 5.0m options for 5th mid. Want rid of Mutch.Haha, no worries. Appreciative of your answer!
Currently I'm on Sterling/Siggy/Ramsey/Lamela/Albrighton. Might ship Lamela out for another 9m (I have 2m in the bank now) but I want to give him one more match. Even still with I could swing Zaha as my 5th...and downgrading Jovetic to Welbeck will provide more flexibility at the front/back.
Will be interesting to see what most people decide to do!going to ride the Naismith price ride for another little while to generate some cash.
Then i'll get Welbeck.
Might even drop Rooney for him, and keep Naismith that little longer, depending on how he does compared to rooney.
Am I the only one still left scratching my head at the recent trend of playing Sterling in the hole?
He's absolutely pants there.i like it just because it gives him more freedom to basically play whereever he likes. on the wing he has more responsibility and is a bit more tied down
I think it limits him massively. He should be getting at fullbacks out wide. He's not near polished enough to do it and may never be. Could always play a 433 and give one of the CM orders to help cover his flank. Simples.
Not for England, he's class there for Liverpool though. England play completely different, it works for him at Liverpool because we press high and when we win the ball in the oppositions half it leaves more space for him in behind the opposition defenders when we counter.
Is it worth the extra £ to get Tadic>JWP?
yes
well JWP not nailed nor shown he can score consistently yet...
Just trawling google for good grav material in support of gay players and saw this incredible quote;
'Nothing says "I love you" quite like FISTING'
😯would you trade zaha for wickham in a single owner league?
Not sure which you have, but I would keep Zaha.
Amalfitano. good 5.0 midfield option?
Tadic in a 3-5-2 or Welbeck 3-4-3? Tadic is supposed to be on penalties.
Why have very few people got Gerrard? 34 appearances, 13 goals and 15 assists last season
For the last time...It's our job to ignore Gerrard and it's his job to finish in the top five mids..IT'S THE RULES !!...it's been going on for years...
a lot of those goals from penalties and people thinking Liverpool won't win nearly as many without Suarez.
That's why I ruled him out anywayThis it is exactly.
I scored massively off Gerrard towards the back end of last season. He shot me up the rankings, but Samh123 is spot on, they were almost all penalties, and without Suarez now, he's on diminishing returns there.
Haha. Well it's because no one expects him to keep up this rate. People think no Suarez = less penos, and he's no longer on every set-piece so those assists will reduce.
Having said that, i have him on my mini league team, and he won me the 1st month.just refuse to get a holding mid for that much, set-pieces or no set-pieces
He should have been priced in around 7.5m this year imo.
aye...Eriksen money at most..
I thought about Gerrard at the beginning of the season. I think he'll be ok, but in my opinion there's better value in Liverpool's squad...specifically Sterling, which is who I went with.
I just think with Gerrard playing in a more withdrawn position his owners will be relying strictly on penalties and FKs...which is ok, but it's not for me.
