After the great success of the pre-season quizzes and the amazing feedback received from the community, I’ve decided to host the quizzes again – but in a way like never before.
The format of the quiz will remain the same, which will be based on MCQ’s only (Multiple Choice Questions). For those who don’t know or haven’t participated in the quizzes before, it is worth pointing out that there will be seven questions asked, with each question consisting of four MCQ’s. One has to get all four MCQ’s right in order to be awarded a point. Each question will have a time limit of five minutes.
The major change I’ve introduced into my quizzes is that, while the previous edition recognized individual winners, the new edition will be a team competition, with teams made up of those already in the FFS UEFA Group’s FFS Hockey Competition. For those not involved in this FFS UEFA competition this quiz is also open to you. All such players will be recognized under another team, ‘Rest of the World’.
The team that gets the most questions right will be declared the winners of a quiz. The quizzes will commence from Monday September 15th and will be held until the end of November. Usually, they will be held daily from Monday to Thursday so that the weekend drama is not affected in any way. I usually post the timings of every quiz on a prior basis on the website, so if anyone wants more clarification on the timings he/she can bookmark my profile.
From an early glance at the teams, we can see that the competition will go down to the wire. Team Australia, with the likes of defending quiz champion Notorious, and Team NZ with the likes of runners-up Innsie, might appear to be favorites but is worth noting that as it is a team competition, individual brilliance can be overcome through team work.
