downgrading ramsey to chadli would allow to upgrade many other players in your team, but not sure if it's worth it...ramsey is arsenal's best player currently.

My Pelle captain pick looked genius till Costa ruined it! (Non owner)

Hoping Di Maria is involved today, not too much love for him in terms of scout community ownership?

Should I be tearing my hair out over the fact my captains have scored 7-6-2-6 for a total of 21 points? Slightly gutting to think of the possibilities that could have been.

Still ranked 257k despite the disappointing captain hauls though which is positive.

I'm the same mate. Ranked 334k and have had captain issues. Did Pelle this week but got aguero instead of costa on the wildcard...

Costa every week. Just pops up in all the right places. Real opportunist striker

    Terry to..

    A. Baines
    B. Ivanovic
    C. Chambers (if Debuchy will be out for many game weeks)

Who to pick ?... Something to consider; Ivanovic has had 11 goal attempts and 10 shots inside the box, fantastic figures, but will he be playing in the future as high in the pitch as he has played ? Baines is on set pieces and penos, fixtures looking fairly good for a longer period, but will Everton tighten up at the back? You nede to get CS's for his price. Baines has had 9 crosses and only one goal attempt, attacking points depending on set pieces? Chambers would allow me to upgrade Marney to Tadic or Chadli as a fifth midfielder, which could be of value if injuries show up or players are benched due to european games, like in the case of Sterling yesterday. This would allow to rotate Wellbeck and Tadic/Chadli if needed....

Any opinions? Thank you very much for your contribution.

Own him at least once a season.

It's too early to tell who the best high value def is gonna be. For now I'm putting some of my eggs in the Tadic basket instead to have 5 strong midfielders.

With Sterling a rotation risk in the forward positions does that make Gerrard the best pick in Liverpool's midfield? He's crucial to the way Liverpool plays and less at risk of rotation given that his only threat is Lucas and he's not playing for England so should be fresh to play most games. He doesn't run as much so can play more games IMO.

Like yaya, he's a great player who benefitted from set pieces last year (usually won by Suarez) not for me...

Maybe Lallana or Coutinho who's stats aren't reading too badly. Earned himself a recall to the Brazil squad apparently. Not sure what that means however after their World Cup performances.

      1. rickardinho
        • 11 Years

The key is the rotation risk. Lallana, Markovic, Sterling, and Coutinho all get in each others way FPL wise. Gerrard will be managed so he can play every game, with Lucas playing cup games an subbing on here and there.

Sterling is the best pick by far. He wont be rotated that often. Rodgers just trying to save him from burnout.
