European football ravages Saturday’s programme, leaving us with just half a dozen encounters. The day’s events start with what, on paper, looks a tepid affair: Stoke pay visit to Loftus Road to meet with Harry Redknapp’s newly promoted QPR.

Let’s not dress this up – Fantasy managers are likely to have little or no interest in this one. Having been disappointed by the impact of Bojan after his pre-season hype, we’ve steered clear of Mark Hughes’ Potters, bar skipper Ryan Shawcross who has a place in almost 15% of Fantasy Premier League lineups. As for the R’s, only defender Steven Caulker can boast respectable ownership – indicating that a classic 0-0 stalemate will be the result of choice for many.

The early kick-off takes us into four afternoon clashes, before the day is rounded off with Liverpool’s trip to Upton Park at tea-time. As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for lineup news on that one and all today’s matches.

    I can understand that deflections usually aren't OG's, but when the direction of the ball is changed almost 180 degrees from the header then surely that is more than a deflection...

          But if crouch had not been there at all, the ball WOULD have gone in. Either way, I'm not disagreeing that applying a "common sense" filter to such situations would render it an OG, I'm just commenting that, as the rules stand, I wouldn't feel aggrieved by the award of a goal.

    Surely Stoke defensive assets have to go? Only CS they got Pieters was firmly nailed to my bench and that was the game he got the assist + bonus as well. Otherwise been absolutely awful. Going to be watching this game from behind the couch with Clyne and Naylor on my bench
