The day’s programme continues with six three o’clock kick-offs, before the tea-time north London derby concludes the action on offer. For once, there’s a big cast of heavy-hitters on show on Saturday afternoon, with United, City and Chelsea all in action.

Diego Costa and his fragile hamstring starts for the league leaders against Villa at the Bridge, sporting the armband for thousands of Fantasy managers. Meanwhile, down at Old Trafford, Louis van Gaal’s attacking riches get to run at the West Ham rearguard in the hope they can score one more than their opponents. We’ll continue our scouting of Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao, then, whilst assessing the Hammers’ ability to expose an injury-ravaged United defence. City’s trip to Hull is perhaps a lesser attraction, although Sergio Aguero’s form has to be monitored carefully as Manuel Pellegrini’s charges begin to warm up ahead of some improved fixtures.

Elsewhere, Ronald Koeman’s Southampton revolution looks to maintain momentum with a St Mary’s meeting against struggling QPR; Fantasy managers will be focused on the returns form Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic in that one. Meanwhile, Leonardo Ulloa will look to boost his stunning 5-goal start to the campaign as Leicester make the trip to Palace and Garry Monk’s stylish Swansea side clash with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Watch how much better United are when Rooney is out.

I wonder if LvG is brave enough to realise this or just completely ignore the fact like Moyes did.

    I won't hold my breath....

he should have been sold off long back

giving in to his wage demands is foolish..he isn't in that category of elite players who deserve
      that amount

Exactly. He slows us down and we play much better football when he's not in the team.

Case in point, Newcastle away last season when we won 4-0.

Mata, Kagawa and Hernandez ripped it up.

Really? He turns like a tank, has lost all of his pace, his awareness seems to be declining with every game and he is not creative.

        This.

Not saying he is the club's best player but he certainly had one of his better games this season.

Was an utterly insane decision considering all that Mason had let go to that point TBF.

            and afterwards

shocking performance from the ref again. The red was justified but

looked like handball just before that

Sakho should have gone, Adrian possibly. They didn't commit one foul worthy of a 2nd yc, but there was enough for a 2nd yellow for persistent fouling

There were six or eight bookable offenses Mason let go yet he showed red for that.

              Farcical.

Wouldn't be too worried if McNair plays like that every week

Wouldn't get my hopes up on the other 3. at 0.9% ownership and 5.3 he's tempting, but no wayy I'll find a home for him

I disagree, panicky clearances again all day long, rarely looks up when facing his own goal, just smashes ot away inviting more pressure-the last thing we need.
Good on the ball though, I'll give him that,

Same problem as many others, I guess: need to get rid of Rooney & Ramsey. Good thing is I've got 2 FT's and 19,5 to play with.

    Utter disaster of a gameweek.

As usual I listen to the herd and get Forster in instead of Courtois because of "those fixtures", Moreno was 90 seconds away from a CS and 2 bonus and ends up with 1. And then Clyne and Chambers both decide to go and follow suit and get the same.

If it wasn't for Costa getting a goal ot would have been a million times worse.

    So annoyed with myself.

so awkward need to make changes for next week
    Current team is
    Hart – Gilks
Clyne – Van Aanholt – Taylor – Schlupp – Janmaat
ADM – Siggy- Fab – Ramsey – Sterling
    Costa – Pelle – Naismith

thoughts. Hart didn’t play, Ramsey got injured and Schlupp didn’t play.

so how about this as a replacement
Hart – Heaton (adds cover incase hart doesn’t get back in)
Clyne – Van Aanholt – Taylor – Schlupp – Janmaat
ADM – Siggy- Fab – Sterling – jedinak
    Costa – Pelle – Lukaku

Will change Schlupp next week or Hart if he doesn't start

    2FTs, 0.5m in the bank.

    Forster - Foster
    Cahill - Colo - PvA - Naylor - Wisdom
    Fabregas - Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy - Marney
    Rooney - Costa - Pelle

    A. Wildcard
    B. Ramsey + Rooney -> Tadic + Aguero (2FTs)

As I already have Rooney to sort out, I am actually thinking about keeping Ramsey and playing with this 5 at the back next week:

    Forster
    Clyne - Moreno - Caulker - PvA

what is more there is an international break for Rambo to recover between GW7 and GW8, and Arsenal fixtures are great after Chelsea...

Thoughts? Take a hit to drop him or keep him..?
