Sunday gets underway with a noon kick-off at Old Trafford as United prepare to take on Everton. The Toffees registered back-to-back wins over their hosts last season, though with Louis van Gaal at the helm, the Red Devils are slowly starting to find their feet and go in search of a third successive home win this afternoon.

With Wayne Rooney suspended, Van Gaal – as expected – hands Juan Mata the role in “the hole”, while Antonio Valencia replaces the injured Ander Herrera in one of only two changes by the Dutchman. Up top, Robin van Persie goes in search of a third successive strike and strike partner Radamel Falcao is still looking for his first goal since arriving on loan from Monaco.

The likes of Seamus Coleman, Sylvain Distin and James McCarthy all miss out for Everton, though Steven Pienaar returns to the XI, as Roberto Martinez rolls out a 4-2-3-1, with the South African joining Steven Naismith and Aiden McGeady in the attacking midfield three behind Romelu Lukaku.

        Not really. Mata £38m, Felani £27m. Moyes had the cash available, couldn't attract the right players and clueless in setting the team up.

      Not really a valid point. It's like saying any team without their key players isn't as strong.. Madrid without Ronaldo, Barca without Messi etc etc.. A non point really.

      Its a good wagon...its just the fixtures. wba up next then Chelsea and Man City. He's good but is he 13 pt against Che and Man C good. Just think other mids will outscore him over the next three.

    Damn ADM, not content with costing me ranks in FPL and UFPL he's now ruined my Scout Picks chances - it was looking pretty good pre-match, I was on top and had RVP and the others had ADM. Bugger.

    Besides ADM and DDG ( today) MU remain unconvincing . Just got over the line AT HOME , against a not great Everton side who had a most testing away game, just 3 days ago . Agree ???
    Will keep ADM for awhile , but would not rush in on any others.

      Did you watch the game or do you just spurt out nonsense for fun? End of the game wasn't pretty, but for 70 mins we completely dominated and should have been out of sight by half time.

      Herrera, Jones, Smalling, Evans and Rooney not in the team.

      I agree that it wasn't incredible but they are missing a couple still. Arguably Roo, Herrera and Evans/Jones make up 3 certain starters that they didn't have today.

        It is common knowledge that sides coming back from testing Europa games are below par .
        On an equal footing , then sure - but was not .
        All I am saying is from an FPL perspective ADM remains the only player I will consider , for now anyway.

      To be fair Utd ran most of the game today. Still don't look convincing at the back but when you have a front 5 or 6 like they have you'll always score goals. Still don't think they will finish top 4 but DDG earnt the win today.
