Saturday’s modest points returns pile expectations on to Sunday’s trio of encounters, as an assortment of prime Fantasy assets take to the turf.

It all begins with a pair of lunchtime kick-offs, as Spurs entertain Newcastle at the Lane and Burnley host Everton up at Turf Moor. Fantasy managers will be looking to the likes of Leighton Baines, Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen to provide some early cheer, before attentions turn to the main event at Old Trafford at 4pm.

United and Chelsea meet head-on in one of the season’s key clashes. It arrives in time to find Jose Mourinho’s Blues flying high on top of the table, while Louis van Gaal’s United struggle to break out of a state of flux.

The script points to a comfortable away win, with Fantasy managers eagerly awaiting the visitors’ team sheet and the potential “revelation” that Diego Costa defies the claims of his manager to spearhead the Chelsea attack. We’re in for a fascinating afternoon.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Would you rather Hutton or Wisdom really guess they'll get around the same points so doesn't matter.

I thought RVP played pretty well. Yes I know he had some chances, but he was much sharper and livelier than I've seen him all season.

Wasteful with the ball imo. Against lesser teams the law of probability and his million crosses/shots says something will likely happen, against Chelsea you have to be more frugal when in possesion

Big game seemed to be more up for it probably be the same against City but loses interest against smaller teams it seems.

Yeah he was alright. To be honest with earlier chances it was hard to score. Maybe could've passed across goal but he's a striker so always likely to shoot

Why Ivan -1 ??? He left out the game before Persi scored... So then 2 for 60+, 4 for CS, and -3 for red card... it is 3 points then...

Red cards greatly decrease a team's ability to keep a cleansheet, so therefore if a player is red carded, it counts against them in the FPL game even after they are dismissed

How many red card rules are not understood by so many interested enough in football/PL to post on here? Let's see:

    1. No CS if team concedes after red card
    2. 1 game ban for 2 yellow cards
    3. 1 game ban for straight red for a professional foul
    4. 3 game ban for red card for vilent conduct
    5. Domestic cup games are part of the suspension

Now, stop with the red card questions and incorrect statements 🙂

He did nothing to deserve a yellow for the first one, shouldn't have even been a free. It's not like he went up and screamed in the ref's face.

Second one was a tangle of legs. Absolutely nothing you can do about that.

Well you weren't there to even know what he said, so it's impossible for you to to judge.

2nd one is a yellow. If it isn't then all defenders will look to make 'accidental' tangle of legs fouls.
