The Gameweek rolls on with one of those “titanic clashes” between the Manchester rivals.

A potential feast for the neutral, City host United in an encounter that boasts a rich supply of attacking talent and a pair of suspect defences: there will surely be goals on offer. Fantasy managers will certainly be hoping that’s the case, with Sergio Aguero and Angel di Maria found in 25% and 38% of Fantasy Premier League squads respectively.

The team news from the Etihad finds Wayne Rooney making a return to the United lineup following suspension, with Juan Mata dropping to the bench as expected. Antonio Valencia earns a start, presumably at right-back, with Rafael missing out through injury sustained in training on Thursday. City are also forced into changes as David Silva sits out with a knee injury, while Edin Dzeko drops to the bench. Eliaquim Mangala is out of the City squad with reports suggesting that he’s nursing a hip problem – James Milner, Martin Demichelis and Stevan Jovetic all earn starts for Manuel Pellegrini. The Chilean has also been forced into a late change, with Aleks Kolarov injuring himself in the warm-up to be replaced by Gael Clichy.

The big derby clash is followed at 4pm by Tottenham’s trip to Aston Villa – a suitably stodgy dessert to follow today’s big roast.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I honest thought Poch would be safe this season even if we struggled a bit and had to settle for a top 6 or 7 finish... but the way things are going Levy's trigger finger will be getting very itchy. Goodness only knows who will be next. Maybe Moyes will come in... gulp.

He'd get us to the top 6 for sure but was never going to get us to kick on beyond an occasional top 4-5 place. Problem is, I don't think our club is set up to succeed regardless of who the manager is and that starts with the owner and Levy

Feel sorry for poch. Players aren't playing the way he wants them to. I assume they think they are 'too good' to play a battling, pressing game.

It will, but confidence and team spirit make a huge difference and Southampton have those in spades. If they don't get any injuries I think they have a good chance of top 4.

Did you see him today. He is neither midfield . Nor striker. Takes up other players positions forcing them to move out of the space they are in. Plays with bacl to goal always now. Unlike RVP &ADM . Hes never in the box where he should be. For me the manager has to tell him if you are that deep you are a midfielder. Freeing up Rvp .Falcao and Mata to play the front 3

He would've blanked against Burnley today. In his previous form he was fixture proof.

I don't think so to be honest.

The games he showed form in was versus average teams.

He will get back there soon. Two tough games for both United and the player.

I just hope he's not nursing an injury. Considered one of the more consistent big game players yet he's barely got at anyone today. Not selling him but he's definitely on a short leash. Doesn't look right at all.

They've had 2 tough games now. He is always getting tons of crosses in the box, and he's great on FK's.
Have never considered getting rid of him.
