Mikel Arteta is ruled out of Arseanl’s trip to Sunderland. Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid are back in training for the Hammers, though Alan Hutton remains sidelined as Villa roll up to Upton Park. Vincent Kompany is a doubt for City and is set for calf scans, Joey Barton is back for QPR as the injuries ease for Harry Redknapp, whilst Gareth Barry is doubtful after picking up leg and ankle issues for Everton in last night’s win over Lille.

Arsene Wenger will welcome Jack Wilshere back into the fold following a bout of illness. He could come straight into the engine room to replace Mikel Arteta: the Gunners skipper is ruled out with a hamstring injury. Swansea host Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium and they’ll be without Jonjo Shelvey through suspension – Spurs loanee, Tom Carroll, will likely get the opportunity to get one over on their north London rivals with a start in the Swans midfield.

Former budget favourite, Alan Hutton misses out for Villa, who mark the now-daunting trip to West Ham without the suspended Christan Benteke. The Hammers are priming Diafra Sakho for action – the Senegal striker is expected to be named in Sam Allardyce’s starting lineup after recovering from shoulder injury. Winston Reid is also available to reinforce the backline against a Villa side with a single goal in their last six.

Neil Warnock will have Damien Delaney back in his squad for the trip to Old Trafford after illness, although he’ll have to do without both Wilfried Zaha who is ineligible and skipper Mile Jedinak through suspension. United will have little sympathy – Louis van Gaal will be forced into fielding a makeshift back four against the Eagles, with Marco Rojo ruled out, Chris Smalling suspended and Rafael a doubt.

Harry Redknapp is cheered by the return of Joey Barton and Jordan Mutch in his midfield, while Nedum Onouha is also back in contention in the R’s rearguard ahead of their Loftus Road meet with City. Vincent Kompany is a concern for Manuel Pellegrini – he’s a doubt with a calf problem.

Gareth Barry is a doubt for Everton’s visit to the Statdium of Light after sustaining injury in last night’s Europa League tie – Everton are also without Antolin Alcaraz with a shoulder injury. The Black Cats also have issues with Patrick van Aanholt ruled out with, you’ve guessed it, another dislocated shoulder. Lee Cattermole also serves his first suspension of the season.

We’ve collated all this and more in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news throughout the day.

Wanyama is pointless, chances are he won't do anything else for the rest of the season.
