Our attempt to get the better of Paddy sees us call upon a couple of in-form midfielders with plum home ties this weekend, whilst we also place our faith in the Hammers’ top scorer as struggling Villa pay visit to Upton Park.

First up, we turn our attentions to St Mary’s as Southampton prepare for a home encounter with Leicester. Dusan Tadic opened his league account in front of his own fans in Gameweek 8 and we’re backing him to do the business against a defence with a single shut-out to their name this season. Paddy are offering 4/1 on Tadic to score and the Saints to keep a clean sheet, and with Ronald Koeman’s side having conceded just once in front of their own fans to date, we fork out £3 on the Serbian to come up trumps.

Next up, we move to the Lane, where Spurs play host to Stoke on Sunday afternoon. Nacer Chadli notched his fifth goal of the campaign in last weekend’s comeback win at Villa, and with their tails up after that one, we reckon Mauricio Pochettino’s side will deliver. With Paddy prepared to offer 6/1 on Chadli to score and Tottenham to keep out their opponents, we part with a further £3.

Finally, we place out faith in Diafra Sakho for West Ham’s home match with Villa. Sam Allardyce’s outfit have already seen off the likes of Liverpool and City in recent outings and the summer signing has been pivotal to those performances, scoring in each of his three Upton Park appearances so far. Paddy are offering 14/1 on Sakho to score two or more goals and the hosts to keep a clean sheet, and bearing in mind Villa have netted once in the last six, we’re convinced enough to make this our bet of the week and throw our final £4 their way.

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Yeah, three years ago Dempsey scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup. I captained him in the next game (this was before he was a popular pick - hardly anyone else captained him). He scored another hattie. Best day ever.

The new explosion imminent table. It is more goal imminent table. Still work in progress but interesting names in there. Will start to analyze it from now on more often.

So who to score this week based on this table:
    RVP
    Ings
    Navas

Lets roll and see what will happen

    TEST

    Saturday Team News Round-Up:

    Liverpool vs Chelsea;

    Liverpool:

    • Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, fellow midfielder Jordan Henderson and forward Raheem Sterling are all expected to be recalled for the visit of league leaders Chelsea.

    • The trio were among seven players left out of the midweek defeat at Real Madrid but not all are guaranteed to return.

    • Good performances by the likes of centre-back Kolo Toure and forward Fabio Borini could see them retain their places.
    .

    Chelsea:

    • Striker Diego Costa will start for Premier League leaders Chelsea at Liverpool despite being left out of the Spain squad to recover from his persistent hamstring trouble.

    • Striker Loic Remy (groin) and midfielder John Obi Mikel (knee) are available following recent injuries, with Jose Mourinho having a fully-fit squad to choose from.

    • Full-back Cesar Azpilicueta is available again after completing his three-match domestic suspension following his dismissal against Crystal Palace.
    .

    Key match stats:

    • After a run of four successive Premier League wins against Chelsea, Liverpool are winless in four against the Blues (D2 L2).

    • Eden Hazard has scored in two of his three Premier League appearances against Liverpool.

    • Cesc Fabregas has recorded nine goal assists already for Chelsea this season, more than any Blues player managed last season.

    • Only four players set up more goals in the whole of last season’s Premier League than Fabregas has created this term (Gerrard 13, Suarez 12, Lambert 10 & Rooney 10).

    • Only three teams have ever had more points than Chelsea (26) have accrued after 10 games of a season in Premier League history (Man City 2011-12 28, Chelsea 2005-06 28 & Newcastle 1995-96 27).

    • Liverpool have had fewer points at this stage in four Premier League seasons and in each case they finished outside the top four – 1992-93 6th, 1993-94 8th, 2010-11 6th and 2012-13 7th).

    • Despite that, the Reds have gone on to finish in the top four on the three previous occasions that they have had exactly 14 points after 10 games.

    • Jose Mourinho’s side have been the most clinical in the top flight scoring with 23% of their attempts.

    • Chelsea have netted four goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches this season, more than any other team in the top flight.

    • Half of the Premier League goals Chelsea have conceded this season have come in the final 15 minutes of matches.

    -

    Queens Park Rangers vs Manchester City;

    QPR:

    • Joey Barton and Nedum Onuoha could both return to face their former club when Rangers host Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

    • Barton and Onuoha are available again to Harry Redknapp as is midfielder Jordon Mutch. All three missed last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea with hamstring problems.

    • Rio Ferdinand is serving a three-match ban for comments made on Twitter while Alejandro Faurlin is a long-term absentee with a cruciate ligament injury.
    .

    Manchester City:

    • Captain Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of the champions' Premier League trip to QPR on Saturday with a calf injury.

    • The defender took a blow to the leg in the midweek Champions League loss to CSKA Moscow. The problem is not thought serious but it could put Kompany's participation in Belgium's upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier with Wales in doubt.

    • Former England midfielder Frank Lampard has recovered from a thigh injury but playmaker David Silva (knee) and left-back Aleksandar Kolarov (calf) are out.
    .

    Key match stats:

    • Charlie Austin has scored 24 league goals for QPR since the start of last season (incl. play-offs); 18 more than anyone else.

    • Sergio Aguero has scored 11 goals in his last 12 Premier League appearances.

    • Edin Dzeko has scored in three of his four Premier League appearances against Queens Park Rangers.

    • There have been five red cards in the last eight Premier League meetings between Man City and QPR.

    • Man City have won four and lost none of the last five meetings in all competitions with Rangers.

    • Manuel Pellegrini’s side have scored seven goals in the final 15 minutes of matches this season, more than any other team in the top division.

    • Defeat last time on the road at West Ham ended a run of 17 games where City lost just once and won 12 (D4).

    • Man City have lost just one of their last six Premier League away games in London (W3 D2 L1).

    • QPR’s Richard Dunne has scored a record 10 Premier League own goals. Six of them came while playing for Manchester City.

    • Manchester City have not lost any of the last eight Premier League games David Silva has missed (W6 D2).

    -

    Manchester United vs Crystal Palace;

    Manchester United:

    • Louis van Gaal has a shortage of centre-backs for Saturday's home game against Crystal Palace.

    • Marcos Rojo (shoulder), Phil Jones (shin), Chris Smalling (suspension) and Jonny Evans (ankle) are all unavailable so midfielder Michael Carrick looks set to start in defence alongside either Tyler Blackett or Paddy McNair.

    • Right-back Rafael (hamstring) is a major doubt for the match at Old Trafford and striker Radamel Falcao (leg) is out.
    .

    Crystal Palace:

    • Captain Mile Jedinak will miss Crystal Palace's trip to Manchester United on Saturday having been sent off in Monday night's loss to Sunderland.

    • The Australia international has played in every Palace game since they won promotion back into the Premier League last year but will sit out the game at Old Trafford as he serves a one-match ban.

    • Wilfried Zaha is also unavailable to Eagles' boss Neil Warnock as he is on loan from United - but Damien Delaney is likely to return to the squad after illness kept him out of the Sunderland game.
    .

    Key match stats:

    • No Premier League team has had more players sent off than Manchester United in 2014 (5).

    • Palace have had a player sent off in two of the last three league meetings with Man Utd.

    • Manchester United have made their worst start to a Premier League season, with just 13 points from 10 games. Their previous worst was 17 points.

    • Palace have failed to score in eight of the 10 Premier League meetings with Manchester United.

    • Robin van Persie has scored a penalty in each of his two Premier League appearances against Palace.

    • Both meetings in the Premier League last season saw Van Persie open the scoring and Rooney net a second for United in 2-0 victories.

    • The Red Devils have won 10 and drawn two of the last 12 league meetings with the Eagles since Palace won 3-0 in May 1991.

    • Crystal Palace have scored a higher proportion of goals from set pieces than any other team in the Premier League (57 per cent).

    • Man Utd have kept just two clean sheets in their last 12 Premier League games at Old Trafford.

    • Crystal Palace have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six Premier League away games.

    -

    West Ham United vs Aston Villa;

    West Ham:

    • Diafra Sakho is expected to return from a shoulder injury for Saturday's match against Aston Villa at Upton Park.

    • England forward Andy Carroll could be in the Irons' squad for the first time this season following an ankle problem after playing in a midweek friendly.

    • Defender Winston Reid will be assessed after suffering a dead leg during the draw at Stoke, but Guy Demel (thigh) remains sidelined.
    .

    Aston Villa:

    • Christian Benteke starts a three-match ban after his sending off in Aston Villa's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.

    • Gabby Agbonlahor, who was dropped for the game, is likely to come straight back into the team as the Belgian's replacement at Upton Park.

    • Philippe Senderos could also return after he made his comeback to training on Thursday following a thigh injury but Fabian Delph (shoulder) and Alan Hutton (ankle) remain out.
    .

    Key match stats:

    • The Hammers have won just five of the last 27 Premier League meetings with the Villans (W5 D13 L9).

    • Andreas Weimann has either scored (3) or assisted (1) four of Aston Villa's five Premier League goals this season.

    • Aston Villa have only ever had fewer than 10 points in two previous Premier League campaigns after 10 matches (2005-06 & 2012-13).

    • Aston Villa have lost six consecutive league games for the first time since August 1967.

    • 17 points and a goal difference of plus-five is West Ham’s best ever start to a Premier League season.

    • West Ham have played 36 times against Aston Villa in the Premier League without ever earning a red card, the most games by a team who has not picked up a dismissal against a certain opponent.

    • Kevin Nolan has scored three goals in four Premier League games for West Ham against Aston Villa.

    • West Ham United have scored more headed goals than any other team in the Premier League this season (8) and three more than Sam Allardyce’s team managed in the whole of last season (5).

    • Aston Villa have hit the target with a lower percentage of shots than any other team in the Premier League (29 per cent).

    • Paul Lambert’s side have won none of their last seven Premier League away trips to London (D1 L6) and lost the last five in a row.

    -

    Southampton vs Leicester City;

    Southampton:

    • Ronald Koeman has no fresh injury concerns as he prepares his side for the visit of Leicester on Saturday.

    • Saints sit second in the Premier League table following a fine run of form, aided by the fact Koeman has been able to select from the majority of his squad for much of the season.

    • Only James Ward-Prowse (foot) and long-term absentee Jay Rodriguez (knee) are missing with Sadio Mane pushing for a start having come off the bench late on in the win at Hull last weekend.
    .

    Leicester:

    • Leonardo Ulloa is set to return for Leicester after being rested following a groin injury last week.

    • The striker was on the bench for the 1-0 home defeat to West Brom but is primed to return at Southampton.

    • Matt Upson (foot) is still out but Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is hopeful the defender, who is yet to play since joining in the summer, could return before Christmas.
    .

    Key match stats:

    • Victor Wanyama has scored three goals in his last six Premier League appearances, having failed to net in his previous 26.

    • The last eight league meetings between Leicester and Southampton have been in the Championship, with the teams drawing both matches the last time they were together in the top flight in 2003-04.

    • Southampton have conceded just five league goals this season; fewer than any other team in England’s top four divisions.

    • Leicester City have failed to score in four of their last five Premier League matches.

    • The Saints have won five and lost none of their last seven Premier League matches at St Mary’s.

    • Southampton have conceded only three goals in their last nine on home soil and kept six clean sheets in that run.

    • If Southampton win this game without conceding they will have the same W-D-L and goals conceded record as Wigan did after 11 games in 2005-06. The Latics eventually faded to finish 10th.

    • The average finishing position for teams who have conceded five goals or fewer in their opening 10 games in the English top-flight is fourth.

    • Southampton only conceded four goals in their opening 10 Premier League games last season; they conceded 19 in their next 10, only managing one clean sheet.

    • Leicester have attempted just one direct-free kick shot this season, which was blocked.

    • Only nine opposition players have been booked facing Leicester this season, fewer than any other club.

    -

    Burnley vs Hull City;

    Burnley:

    • Steven Reid is available for Burnley's match at home to Hull on Saturday after a groin problem.

    • Midfielder Matt Taylor is back in initial training after an Achilles operation but is not ready to return to playing.

    • Striker Sam Vokes is still working his way back from a serious knee injury.
    .

    Hull:

    • Steve Bruce is not expecting any of their injured players back for the trip to Burnley on Saturday.

    • That means third choice goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic will continue in place of Allan McGregor and Steve Harper, while Michael Dawson (ankle), Alex Bruce (hamstring), Nikica Jelavic and Robert Snodgrass (both knee) all sit out.

    • Gaston Ramirez is available again after being ineligible to face parent club Southampton last week.
    .

    Key match stats:

    • Four of the last five league meetings between Burnley and Hull City have ended with a 1-0 scoreline.

    • Hull City won the last meeting between the two sides at Turf Moor in March 2013, but this ended a run of seven straight wins for the Clarets over the Tigers.

    • Burnley have scored with a lower proportion of their shots than any other team in the Premier League (6 per cent).

    • Burnley are the 10th side to fail to win any of their opening 10 Premier League matches of a single season. Three of the previous nine have survived.

    • Hull City have won just one of their last 10 Premier League away matches (W1 D4 L5).

    • Burnley have won just two of their last 18 home games in the Premier League (W2 D7 L9).

    • This is the 57th league meeting between Burnley and Hull but only the third in the top-flight.

    • After scoring in each of their opening eight Premier League games this season, Hull have now failed to score in their last two.

    • A defeat in this game will see Burnley match the record of their arch-rivals Blackburn in the 1996-97 season (W0 D4 L7). Rovers managed to avoid relegation that campaign.

    • Hull are the only Premier League team this season who don’t have at least one player to have featured in every minute of every game.
