With an international break looming, we need to cherish this weekend’s action. Fortunately, on paper, the Gameweek looks to have plenty to offer us – beginning at Anfield for Liverpool’s clash with Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho’s side draw up on Merseyside sitting on the Premier League summit to find a faltering Liverpool outfit struggling for a foothold.

Brendan Rodgers men have just two wins in their last seven – a run that has prompted Fantasy managers to turn their backs on the men in red: even Raheem Sterling’s star has faded badly in recent weeks.

Sterling will have the opportunity to show his worth, going up against Chelsea’s cast of midfield heavyweights – Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Oscar. Meanwhile, up front, Fantasy managers will be monitoring Diego Costa’s sharpness. Once an “essential” asset, Costa’s recent injury woes have seen enthusiasm dampened – goals today would quickly reverse that.

The early kick-off is followed by a quartet of matches, before Chelsea’s title rivals, City, pay visit to Loftus Road.

Stick around to discuss the day’s action as it unfolds and keep one eye on our Twitter feed for all the lineup news.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Fabregas takes a lot of free kicks etc so it's clearly him. Hazard lacks an end product.

Anybody can strike a mean dead ball. From open play, Fabregas is horrible at shooting.

This is what Hazard does most games. Involved so much yet 0 points
Fabregas can be "quiet" and pop up with an assist or 2.

I think it comes down to whether finishing is something you can learn with time (see Welbeck). Put it this way though, Hazard's dribbling, movement and passing is something he was born with.

POP QUIZ - NAME THIS PLAYER:

At the end of summer one of the England’s most successful football clubs broke club transfer records to reclaim its spot at the top of the Premiership.

They signed one of the most coveted creative midfielders in the world from Real Madrid.

Despite his high starting price, the player was an instant hit in FPL. He scored around 50 points in those first 5 games and acquired a million owners in FPL along the way.

I think I have a slightly different perspective on Hazard to most.

For me, he's a season keeper, and he's probably only useful if thought about that way.

He doesn't get consistent returns, and that's what frustrates most people about him I think. And yet, he's still there near the top midfield scorers in the game.

I don't think he's a great player to bring in and out of your team. I think he's a player that can hurt you some GWs, but more than making up for it in another GW.

That's why for me, with Hazard, I committed myself to keeping him for the first ten games of the season before deciding what to do with him.

So far, looking at the points he's brought in (captaining him on two of his hauls, too), I'm more than happy.

You're living in the past, last season Mourinho focused everything on Hazard, Hazard WAS the Chelsea attack, now everything is coming off and going through Costa. Hazard is no longer the Chelsea player to have, I'd rather have Costa or Fabregas over him.

This time last season, Hazard had three goals and one assist.

After ten games this season, he has three goals and one assist, and his overall stats ar better.

        Just a thought.

Anyone fancy mocking up a pokemon battle between Skrtl and Costa?

I reckon Pansear would make a good Costa

Be typical now if Fab ends up outscoring Hazard again 🙄

Hazard doesn't deserve points for hitting ever shot at Johnson.

Has no one noticed that Hazard has to play in front of the diabolical Ivanovic who has decided that he is most effective by defending in the opponents penalty box....

Gianfranco Zola is one tiny man. Would love to see him play in this Chelsea team, such a class player.

Scholes: "he's well within his right to move sterling out of the way"... sure, as long as he doesn't PUNCH HIM IN THE JAW in doing so!!!

As a Costa owner, I'm getting fed up, kept him through these stupid injuries which was a mistake, how many times can we say 'he's got QPR next or WBA next, it doesn't matter, if he's not scoring, he doesn't justify his price tag, Costa out

Not angry mate, just a logical point of view, he's not on form and for that price, you expect more, simples
