It’s “squeaky bum time” in the ScoutCast studio as Granville continues to chip away at my previously “unassailable” mini-league lead. My co-host stumbled through an injury-strewn Gameweek 12 with the honours, leaving me trailing and worrying that he’ll have clawed it all back by Christmas.

Pressing on, we flog the Hazard vs Fabregas debate once again and run the rule over a cast of budget strikers, desperately searching for the optimum way to spend the two transfers burning holes in our pockets.

We asses the week’s transfer bandwagons, look ahead to Gameweek 13 and take time out to tease Jonty on his Di Maria u-turn. We then combine “powers” to terrifying effect and prepare the ScoutCast XI for their Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round, having flexed its muscles to the tune of a 59-point Gameweek 12. Intimidating stuff.

      i hope you see this!

      I was looking at those as well, but after a long time researching exploring every rabbit hole you can imagine, I came to the overwhelming conclusion that the sennheiser hd 25 is the way to go. I went with the more expensive aluminum edition, but any version will make you happy. I went with these because they are the industry standard, haven't changed for 25 years (because the germans nailed it the first time), and every part is user replaceable.

        Palace quite underrated. The Liverpool result could turn their fortunes. If you have quality you can turn things around really quickly. Look at Newcastle

          I think their best assets are in midfield, maybe even up front. Warnock can't organise a defence to save his life so I don't think they will improve much defensively irrespective of fixtures (I speak from bitter experience)

    @Doosra:

    Caulker this season among defenders:
    - 4th for touches in the box (5th in last 6 games)
    - 2nd for attempts and shots in the box (behind Ivan)
    - since Vargas started taking set pieces his number of chances (and quality of them) seem to have increased.

    Next 4 home games (in the next 7 gw's): BUR WBA CPL LEI
    - Ranked 1st, 4th, 5th, and 8th respectively in last 6 GW's in most chances conceded from set pieces.

    If you consider an acceptable points-per-million-per-game, then 0.8 (which is the difference between yun and caulker) is a worthwhile investment should Caulker score just 1 goal (and get 6pts+baps). Stats indicate that he could very well get more than 1 goal, and its also pertinent that Yun could be gone in gw19-20 for the CPL & SWA games, which would cause a rotation problem if you owned him.

        I'm thinking that I'd rather put that cash towards Caulker instead of having it rotting in the bank, as I can't see any direct use for it otherwise the way my team is structured. Plus, it makes watching games so much more entertaining if every corner is a goal chance!
