It’s “squeaky bum time” in the ScoutCast studio as Granville continues to chip away at my previously “unassailable” mini-league lead. My co-host stumbled through an injury-strewn Gameweek 12 with the honours, leaving me trailing and worrying that he’ll have clawed it all back by Christmas.

Pressing on, we flog the Hazard vs Fabregas debate once again and run the rule over a cast of budget strikers, desperately searching for the optimum way to spend the two transfers burning holes in our pockets.

We asses the week’s transfer bandwagons, look ahead to Gameweek 13 and take time out to tease Jonty on his Di Maria u-turn. We then combine “powers” to terrifying effect and prepare the ScoutCast XI for their Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round, having flexed its muscles to the tune of a 59-point Gameweek 12. Intimidating stuff.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Maybe you can say if I should do something about my team then? 5 flagged players but I've already done my FT Bera -> Austin..

      Krul*
      Clyne Baines* Duff*
      Sigurdsson Sánchez Hazard Downing*
      Austin Costa Agüero

      Subs: Schmeichel Chadli* Dummett Wisdom

        Stay calm.

You'll get 3 defenders and a goalie out no matter what and it looks like Downing will play.

Don't go needlessly throwing away points.

Any money ITB? Only thing I'd consider is changing Downing. You'd have to have a fair bit of ITB to make it worthwhile though as Siggy is one of few mids in that region financially worth having - and you already have him.

Unlikely, FFF is the most reliable and have him at a rate of -0.06% per hour at an overall level of -90.5. So it would take 158 hours on that estimation, or 6 and half days.

Friday always a lot busier and you expect to see more activity but with doubts over Baines Ivano might see a few buyers offset this.

Anyone watch this on Monday or afterwards?

This is our head of refereeing in the PL dodging all questions and basically saying that it's down to how the referee wants to deal with the situation on the day.

Anyone else think it's ridiculous? How can you have laws that the referees don't even know how to implement?

lot of inconsistancy in refereeing in the Premier League, and that will only continue whilst Mike Riley and Howard Webb sit on the fence like they have done so many times in terms of decision making.

It is a disgrace but I must say, there is very little professionalism across the board in football, if the refs choose to be the same then so be it. I don't support it but they may feel that they don't need to bother when so many higher ups in world football are corrupt as sin.

    2ft n 0.6

    krul ------ foster
    naylor • clyne • yun • chambers • chester
    siggy • adm • alexis • tadic • arfield
    kun • costa • sakho

    potential solutions:
A: tadic + chester >> oscar + hutton...but then cant afford to upgrade clyne >> azpi in future
B: tadic > eriksen / ox / downing / miralles / barkley and carry over FT as i have good def this gw
    C: tadic + chester >> ox/downing/? + terry
    D: tadic + clyne >> sterling + clichy...very punty i know but i like
    E: tadic + sakho > oscar/sterling + lane
F: tadic chester sakho >> sterling hutton austin (-4)
G: tadic clyne sakho >> sterling azpi kane -4)

so taking an algebra-tadic (t) is gone so its about who goes with him
As you are so uncertain i would not make a big decision for this reason i go for B
which allows you 2 FT next week-of the 5 you offer form would suggest mirallas who scored tonight,if you're wanting flexibility in the future jedinak would give you cash in pocket and a pens/freekick taker to boot

Usually about 2-3 weeks before symptoms and pain wear off, that's before even considering training etc.

Doubtful, treat it very gently. R.I.C.E. is good initially but really icing etc. is only good for the first 24-48 hours. Rest it properly, definitely elevate it as frequently as possible.

You'll know how it's going in a week's time, if it's still very sore then pretty unlikely you'll be doing anything unfortunately.

        - good fixtures
        - on form
        - euro ban
        - playing further up whilst silva injured
        - highest shots on goal stat out of all the midfielders
        - has freekicks
        - differential as ownage % is very low

      As it stands, yes.

I still think Baines has a chance.

    Is this worth wildcarding guys?

    Krul Elliot
    BAINES CLYNE MOORE Chambers Dummett
    MARNEY DOWNING Siggy Haz Sanchez
    Costa Aguero Austin

    To

    Krul Elliot
    AZPI BARTLEY YUN Chambers Dummett
    JEDINAK ADM Siggy Haz Sanchez
    Costa Aguero Austin

Would roll Tuesday's transfer over with the intention of maybe downgrading ADM to Downing and upgrading Bartley to Baines when he is fit. Or am I best saving the wildcard and just bringing Azpi in for Moore before Tuesday's game.

Not for me, Spectrum. The changes you are making are at the peripheries of your squad. I don't think it's worth a WC at all. Not even close.

Cheers Walsh was confirming what I was thinking but thought I would put it out there anyway just for reassurance.

Don't think so Spectrum. Nice you have a nice team. At worst take a hit or two.

Which option is most wise? defence below for reference.

A: Use second FT of this GW to do Clyne ---> Cresswell
B: Play Jagielka (save FT for next week)

    Fabianski, (McCarthy)
    Naylor, Chambers, Jags (Clyne, Duff)

B everyday mate. that's a good defense. What's the worry?
Stay put & I'd opt for someone other than Cresswell right now

Been a nightmare in Tesco today on customer service desk, 25% off clothes till Sunday everyone has been bringing there clothes back getting refunds then buying them back cheaper cheeky bar stewards dreading it in work in the morning.

That's a right stitch up! Yeah I was tempted to go in store and see if anything decent, but can't be arsed scrapping over people so might just wait till jan sales instead.

I would worry about your new defence which is forced on you by your front line heavies-fine if that is the way you want to go but austin instead of bony would give you so much more flex if you are determined to have the 2 big boys

-bartley wont play for long imo,
-wasile-is he just cheap-subject to rotation?
      - you could afford a caulker if going austin and a jedinak instead of an ame?
Ameobi is an interesting 5th choice-what's his appearance level like?
