It’s “squeaky bum time” in the ScoutCast studio as Granville continues to chip away at my previously “unassailable” mini-league lead. My co-host stumbled through an injury-strewn Gameweek 12 with the honours, leaving me trailing and worrying that he’ll have clawed it all back by Christmas.

Pressing on, we flog the Hazard vs Fabregas debate once again and run the rule over a cast of budget strikers, desperately searching for the optimum way to spend the two transfers burning holes in our pockets.

We asses the week’s transfer bandwagons, look ahead to Gameweek 13 and take time out to tease Jonty on his Di Maria u-turn. We then combine “powers” to terrifying effect and prepare the ScoutCast XI for their Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round, having flexed its muscles to the tune of a 59-point Gameweek 12. Intimidating stuff.

      Solid front three, midfield is strong apart from Downing is he's injured.
      Your backline looks way too stacked, too much money invested there IMO

      lol, im considering pretty similar trades to D, though I'm looking at Caulker instead of Yun as I have 2.1itb.

      Both Ayoze AND Boyd is a bit soft up front imo. Get Downing in there instead of Boyd if you can.

      Either C or D looks decent.

    Can Stewart Downing keep up his good form for the rest of the season?

    He had a combined 4 goals and 7 assists in his last two seasons (1g + 2a last year in 29 starts), but now already has 2 goals and 4 assists in 11 game this season.

    Is it down to West Ham's style of play mainly, or his temporary form, or something else?

        Fairly even I think but from both lines I'd go for Creswell or Jenkinson. Jenkinson is good value I think and comes in cheaper than Creswell I believe.

              don't think so, probably due to the small number of players...if you search "a-league ins and outs" on google you get the squads for all the teams for that gw, which is always helpful...otherwise just browsing the top point scorers charts is a good place to start!

                  love that midfield! janjetovic in for reedy would be good...yeah keogh is a good buy, as is janko...look at georgievski for a victory defender, he is nailed and cheap, maybe for mullen, who looks to have lost his place....DGW for WSW and Brisbane next GW, so keep your WSW players! perhaps get Henrique in for Duke next gw, as Henrique has a DGW...

      mcnair to dummett would be better and save you 0.1-which could allow you to go alderweireld from chambers who i think will be vulnerable to rotation/europe/cards
      personally i think wany's a good punt-others would say not good enough for 4th mid but all this is dictated by your forward line

      Very light defensively. None of the defense are nailed aside from Baines.

        yes if you are determined to have your forward line
        I suspect you might need to trade down from baines to give you more flex
        -ameobi is not a fourth mid-trade up to jedinak?
        -in def look for some nailed on cheapness-jaanmaat + dummett ,trippier ,caulker naylor for starts?

      You can't WC and end up with Boyd and Ameobi.
      Downgrade Austin to Kane and get decent 5th mid.

      Also don't like Pants and Duff / McNair.
