    How did Barkleys and Naismiths goals not go down as OGs?

          I think they were. Barleys would have been judged to be bending.

        Barkleys was going wide and Naismiths was pushed out by the keeper before it hit the defender and went back in!

          It really wasn't. He hit it with inside of left foot and took a deflection early on. It would have curled on target.

              Nope. It needs to be clearly going wide to remove a players goal. Thems the rules.

      It's not about how much the direction changed, it's about whether it was on target, in some way, before the deflection.

      Watched first Everton match in ages. As Baines owner not too happy with him but as said on here before Mirallas is taking points from him. Was thinking of bringing in Lukaku!!!! What has happened to him? Worst player on pitch by a mile. Prob 5 touches all game, one from halfway was assist but .... Is this his norm?..

    With all the Baines chat, as painful as it is when he's scoring rubbish. People sometimes forget that his basic points will come from clean sheets, that's his bread and butter in terms of points in FPL. Yes he is attacking and yes he is on pens but that surely can't be relied on all the time. With lukaku not in the greatest of form and mirallas taking up his space/fk/corners (up until now). Think Everton have been struggling with Europa.

    Perhaps they will turn for the better with a break from it, I will give it a week or 2 before getting him back.

    Previous owner who luckily got rid just after his streak stoppe. I was genuinely expecting a 15 pointer tonight from him and bricking it

    I'm ditching Baines this week probably.
    Considering to double on chelsea and get Zab (Already have Clichy) or get Azpi..
    City's fixture look amazing but my only and biggest worry is that they wont have Kompany.

    I don't understand how people can go from thinking a player is world class one week, to thinking he isn't just because he hits a bad run of form after an injury....

    Costa scored 8 goals + 1 assist in 9 CL games last season, and 27+3 in 34 league games.... and now has 12 goals in 13 games this season.....

    Its not like he's suddenly completely forgotten how to score a goal... 🙄

                  I'm not talking FPL. I've got Costa, because he plays lone striker for the best team in the league.

                  RVP, Rooney (who was Mourinho's 1st choice) and a fully fit Falcao would do better than Costa at Chelsea, I reckon.

          they still tried to get the ball to Costa every chance they got..hence their needing to play him even 25% fit..

          Costa:
          - no baps
          - no game involvement really aside from shooting
          - gets yellows very easily
          - expensive but not on pens
          - dodgy hamstrings
          - with Drogba and Remy as backups, Mou doesn't NEED to play him week in and out

    So I made it into the semi final of my draft league game. As such I am not playing in gameweek 17. I could do with some reaffirmation for a couple of moves for my squad...

    GK: Adrian/Cech

    DEF: Mangala/Bertrand/Caulker/Debuchy/Naylor

    MID: Walcott/Barkley/Lampard/Tadic/Montero

    FWD: RVP/Lukaku/Giroud/Austin

    Looking at strengthening for gameweeks 18/19 I'm looking at the following moves...

    Adrian -> Pantillimon
    Bertrand -> Bavies

    A little unsure on the latter but the gk move seems a no brainer considering the fixtures. Anything else you would do?

    Thanks so much guys...
