This afternoon, we roll out the fifth round draw of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup X, as sponsored by Paddy Power, and take a look back at the key events during Boxing Day’s fourth round ties.

There were three centurians in round four, who managed to go through into the fifth round in style with impressive three-digit points totals. United Nations was the fourth round’s top scorer, with his tally of 103 earning him £25 of free bets with Paddy Power.

Gimli son of Gloin’s score of 101 was more than enough to see off Dez and earn a fifth round tie with 1966 was a great year. Meanwhile, Luke Costello’s perfect century got the better of Rich Davies in the fourth round.

Granville also marches on, with his 71 score enough to take him through to the fifth round, where he faces Mediocre Men.

Other key fifth round match ups include Mata Is The Juan, who has drawn the short straw and faces the competition’s highest ranked manager Never Trust Lukaku, who sits in eighth overall. Laurel Hill faces United Nations, while Triggy takes on the Mutant Ninja Skrtels.

In total, 14 of the 64 fifth round competitors are in the top 1,000, further underlying how tough this tournament is during its later stages.

The full list of fourth round results can be found here while the fifth round draw in full can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

    A. Rooney/Costa and Ameobi > Austin and Silva
    B. Bony and Ameobi > Austin and Sterling
C.Bony and Siggy > Austin and Silva (keep Ameobi)

I feel silva is getting as near to essential as there is?

I've got 2FT . I want Silva in , but if I wanted to fund it , I would have to sell siggy and baines to Silva and a £5.4 defender , and theres the problem . All the defenders are Shite , and I wanted Kolarov .

    I could do Bony, Siggy , Baines --> Benteke , Silva , Kolarov (-4) ?

    What do we think ?

Here's my Chelsea likely 11 for tomorrow, call me crazy, but it's just my gut feeling. Lets see how I fair after the lineups come out. Not intending to scaremonger 🙂

    Courtois

    Azpi Zouma Cahill Luis

    Cesc Matic

    Schurrle Oscar Hazard

    Costa

9/10 will disagree with Terry rest choice, he in great form, probably will play in the end, but because of his age and Jose's comments about none likely to play all 5 games and he being a fan of Zouma etc. So there could be some tears, but hopefully not.

Ivanovic great player, but may be tired as got run ragged down that side by Valencia/Amalfitano yesterday.

            Team once transfers done:

Carrying on from my last post about Sanchez being a great captaincy option this week, I just took a look at recent scores in this fixture, and they are quite encouraging.

    13/14: WHU 1-3 ARS
    12/13: WHU 1-3 ARS
    11/12: WHU 0-3 ARS
    10/11: WHU 2-2 ARS

Of course, past doesn't predict the future, and WHU are certainly better this season. But it does show that there are often goals in these derby games, even with BFS at the helm.

Yeah, he's due one, but Wenger can't afford to imo, especially with Giroud out.

This is a massive game and I fully expect Wenger to start with his strongest 11.

I've never owned him. I guess because I've never considered him the best option.
Right now I wouldn't invest because of the African cup.

Been thinking recently about what goes into making a captaincy decision and surely yaya is a better captaincy choice than Austin/benteke? City are very likely to score a hateful of goals/win whilst both villa and qpr are unpredictable....I get the logic that Austin and tekkers will score a higher % of their teams total than yaya will but it just feels so lame captaining these sort of players from weaker teams when their sides stumble across the line so often.
