Granville and I make a New Year return to the ScoutCast studio, battered and bruised by the events of Gameweek 20 which saw us both inexplicably bench Harry Kane and his 18-point haul.

Having wasted our big differential and haunted by constant reminders, my co-host and I struggle to make a recovery. Spitting the pips from our sour grapes, we do our best to justify our doomed decision-making, before attempting to salve the wounds with talk of the Winter Wildcard refresh around the usual batch of regulars.

    Last thoughts after playing Wilcard. Since Aguero might be back next weeks and I need to free some cash (will happen from the mid) which of the two combos you prefer.

    A. Sanchez , Haz, Fab, Sterling, Boyd
    B. Sanchez , Haz, Fab, Chadli, Boyd

    Next gameweek.

    1. Sanchez , Haz, Fab, Chadli, Boyd
    2. Replace Sanchez with Sterling/Silva/someone else around 8-9m£.

    Should I go with B and 1, from now or keep A and in the next week get Chadli instead of Sterling ? Or Downing?

    Number 2 is kind of a quick though now that Arsenal's Ramsey and Ozil and Groud are back - this may limit Alexis influence.

      Siggy, maybe? Very tough though. You'd kick yourself if your more expensive ones scored on your bench, and Austin is a bit more likely than Siggy (I think).

      Jesus that is tough. Between Siggy and Austin for me - maybe the latter as their away form is the worst ever...

      All 4 have capable hauls in them this week though, so don't blame me if you make the wrong choice 😀 !

            I like Rooney as a differntial but also worried about getting rid of Charles before the Burnley game,

                      I'd consider just playing Foster in goal every week, personally not a fan of rotating goalkeepers as they're so hard to get right and then perhaps Naylor > Hutton, Cameron

                      Chadli does offer good value though so don't decimate your team to accomodate ADM. I'm going for some United attack in ADM over double Spurs though

                          I feel like ADM will be valuable going forwards, so the key question really is Fab or ADM (presuming Costa isn't essential)...?
