Petr Cech has been ruled out of action for three to four weeks with a knee injury.

Andre Villas-Boas today confirmed his number one keeper will be unavailable for selection until the end of September:

“Petr Cech yesterday suffered a medial ligament injury and will be out for three to four weeks. It was the end of training, a normal training incident. He fell awkwardly with his weight on top of him. We expected much worse when we saw the incident.”

This should see him miss a run of fixtures that reads (WBA, NOR, sun, mun, SWA). Immediately this brings Hilario and Ross Turnbull into the equation. Hilario was on the bench for the game at Stoke last weekend and, of the two, looks likely to get the nod.

Both come in at 4.5 and with those next two home games in particular catching the eye, some Fantasy managers may be willing to turn their back on nailed-on, pricier options such as John Terry and Ashley Cole and take a punt- Chelsea are strong favourites to pick up clean sheets in both fixtures.

Cech will now be removed from the Watchlist in due course.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Osman I think, although I have a feeling Fellaini could be a sneaky bonus points honey...

Neville did well under the EA sports index as well by the way and should not be overlooked at 5.0!

Fellaini doesn't have a great goalscoring record, Osman's is much better since he tends to drift in off the wing.

If there are no home wins this game week as well (aside from City), I'm absolutely screwed with my team!

Anyone else got a team chocked full of home players, aside from Moses?

Let me have a look at my Sports Almanac:

        Aston Villa 0-1 Blackburn
        Swansea 1-1 Wigan (Moses)
West Brom 5-1 Chelsea (penalty, Drogba, Lampard off pitch, Hilario was hilarious)

I'm on the up, my friend, on the up, silly amounts of green arrows half way through last season when I started to pay attention 😛

Nah think he'll do well though, but doesn't make much sense wasting a transfer out...

You gonna captain Rooney? I'm seriously thinking about it

Not really. Can you see an untested 18 year old displacing El Nno or Drogba? At best he might get a chance in a wide forward area, but don't be surprised to see him loaned out if all other strikers stay.

I wasn't conerned at all. Was just eating at my desk and had a little look at The Sun.

'Lukaku, who goes straight into Villas-Boas' squad for Chelsea's opening home game against West Brom..' got me thinking, that's all. I know it's not high-brow reporting but all the same I thought I'd throw it out there.

What do folks think about Rosicky, Ramsey and other Arsenal mids?

Notwithstanding current defensive problems and less than ideal fixtures, do people see Rosicky as a possible mid-field playmaker (& guaranteed starter) in the absence of Fabs and Nasri?

Something to look for post GW4?
