Petr Cech has been ruled out of action for three to four weeks with a knee injury.

Andre Villas-Boas today confirmed his number one keeper will be unavailable for selection until the end of September:

“Petr Cech yesterday suffered a medial ligament injury and will be out for three to four weeks. It was the end of training, a normal training incident. He fell awkwardly with his weight on top of him. We expected much worse when we saw the incident.”

This should see him miss a run of fixtures that reads (WBA, NOR, sun, mun, SWA). Immediately this brings Hilario and Ross Turnbull into the equation. Hilario was on the bench for the game at Stoke last weekend and, of the two, looks likely to get the nod.

Both come in at 4.5 and with those next two home games in particular catching the eye, some Fantasy managers may be willing to turn their back on nailed-on, pricier options such as John Terry and Ashley Cole and take a punt- Chelsea are strong favourites to pick up clean sheets in both fixtures.

Cech will now be removed from the Watchlist in due course.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Guys, does anyone know if the hugely increased ownership of Kun is going to impact on his cost increasing when values start increasing again on Sat i.e. 4.4% ownership now at 23%, cheers

A: All record of transfers will be removed at the Gameweek 2 deadline (11:30 BST on Saturday 20th August 2011). You will start Gameweek 2 with no transfers or points deductions recorded. If you have already played your wildcard it will be reset.

Transfers will not effect player price changes until after the Gameweek 2 deadline.

      ------

As far as price rises are concerned, Aguero will have 0 transfers in and out at 1130 on Saturday. His 350,000 current inwards transfers wont increase his price.

Hope this makes sense, but on totalfpl, with player NTI rising this week, does that need there price will go up next week as there is a price freeze or does it return to zero and start again?

does that mean it would be fruitless to bring in a player over the 100% as will now need even more transfers to increase price? sorry for being a bit thick here

Not sure how much you can spent but Swansea rotate well for the next 6-7 weeks. Ideally Sinclair but Dyer places forward & 4.5m could be good, again imo

He's a massive differential with just 3% ownership!

Who fancies Yossi Benayoun for a start at the weekend then?

Can see AVB shaking things up, tbh, especially being at home.

    Maybe this line up?

    GK
    Back 4
    Lamps Ramires Benayoun
    Drogba Torres Malouda

Can't see Kalou keeping his place and with the stuff going on with Mikel's Dad, AVB may let him have the match off as Ramires is plenty of defensive cover in midfield for a home match
