Ah got it. I think so though, Long is out and Elia has a poor scoring record for his previous clubs apparently.

He always looks livelier than Tadic.

    Hamer / Panty
    Bellerin / Clyne / Azpil / PVA / Wisdom
    Silva / Oscar / Cazorla / Eriksen / Walters
    Aguero / Kane / Sturridge

What transfers are you thinking of doing this week? For me:

    Koscielny>Azpilicueta
    Di Maria>Silva

Utd's points are too spread among the attack and Silva has form.
I think Azpilicueta will outscore Koscielny in the next 3 and I want him for the season.

Thinking about a similar move. But West Ham might be a good fixture for ADM as he will be breaking on the counter attack. Silva will be playing in front of a wall of Hull defenders I imagine.

Thesis: Mourinho is pairing Zouma with John Terry to learn the CB role from him, in order to replace him alongside Cahill next season.

you could go with Zouma and Bellerin in your back four and have a ridiculous cheap route into 2 teams who will get a lot of CS....it's fairly risky but you could get the likes of Sturridge up front then instead of say Austin or Pelle kinda price range.....

      1. djenzio
        • 11 Years

also Zouma was very very good against Pool and City...two big games and two impressive results....Jose has said he doesn't like changing his team around a lot so maybe Zouma has a place for now?

    Yes or no?

Rooney, Chadli, Bertrand > Giroud, Sterling, Azpilicueta

Yep hoping they go on a defensive run.

        Rooney 2,2,2,2,2

        Chadli rotation.

Sterling has a midweek game but other than that those are great moves.

Chadli has tough games. Sterling has form.
Rooney is playing deep. Giroud has form and decent fixtures.
Bertrand red card. Azpilicueta has fixtures.

Hows the bench look, I'm seriously considering taking a punt on Kolorov for the next few games, always looks a threat, Hull and Newcastle at home in the next 3 too.

Only issue is his game time, Clichy has started the last 4...

Why do you assume Sanchez will play if fit?

          No.

Crystal Palace v Arsenal 21/2 before Arsenal v Monaco 25/2
          Arsenal v W Ham 14/3 before Monaco v Arsenal 17/3

There are 2 games where Sanchez could be rested for a start.

With Walcott and Ozil fit the situation for Sanchez has completely changed. He's no longer the only option. There will be rotation.

Chelsea have Oscar, Willian, Schurrle, Salah. Don't see Hazard being rested..

Yes but maybe you don't understand why.

Schuerrle has been ill and is only just fully recovered. Salah just hasn't showed anything in the games he's played to warrant his inclusion. Jose has had no choice.

If Cuadrado comes in, Hazard will be rested in a few games. You can count on it. He has already played 36 games this season and is on track to play 65+. He can't do that and keep his level. Mourinho knows that.

I think everyone is underestimating the effect of the CL knockout stages which start soon. Important players will be rested in easier PL games. The managers won't be able to avoid it. And yes, I think this may well apply to Aguero too.

Hazard played all last season without rotation. Chelsea and Man City are out of FA cup so have free weeks for rest in between Champions League.

We'll see. Chelsea will also have a game to reschedule. But yes, getting out of the FA Cup will help Chelsea to get by with a thin squad.

That's what I'm coming round to thinking. The other possibility I suppose is that they all share gametime.

Assuming Sanchez is back it's difficult seeing him leave any of the others out so Walcott would be my guess too.

    Suits him too!

Koeman has already said they will appeal Bertrand's red card. Any chance they will get it overturned?

I can't see it. It wasn't a red but it was a foul. Ban stays there I guess.

Hey guys I really need some advice

    Heaton - Pants
    Bertrand - Terry - Wisdom - Jones - Hutton
    ADM - Sanchez - Fabregas - Hazard - Boyd
    Austin - Aguero - Kane

    2FT 0ITB

I know I need to lose Bertrand(possibly to Clyne) but is there any other moves you would do?

    Thank you 🙂

Would I be crazy to do Bertrand+Sanchez+Austin to Clyne+Walcott+Giroud?

I don't think so. Others will disagree. I'd go for Ozil rather than Walcott though.

annoying thing about this Bertie red card is all us Clyne owners won;t have as much of a differential now over Bertie owners...everyone will do Bert -> Clyne
