Alexis Sanchez is available for Arsenal’s home match with Leicester. Cesc Fabregas could return for Chelsea tomorrow evening. Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho are expected to recover from knocks in time for Liverpool’s clash with Spurs tonight, whilst Adam Johnson is now fully fit for Sunderland.

Alexis Sanchez “will be back in the group” to face Leicester this evening, Arsene Wenger has confirmed. Arsenal remain without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whilst Jack Wilshere is expected to return to training at some point this week.

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Cesc Fabregas could return for Chelsea’s home clash with Everton after he chose to protect the Spaniard’s hamstring by resting him away to Villa last weekend.

Raheem Sterling (foot) and Philippe Coutinho (knee) are both expected to recover in time for Tottenham’s visit, whilst Brendan Rodgers is optimistic on Adam Lallana’s chances of recovering from a groin complaint. The Reds were dealt a blow, though, after Lucas was ruled out with the thigh injury that forced him off early on at Goodison on Saturday.

Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony will miss City’s trip to Stoke tomorrow evening. The duo will travel to Ivory Coast to celebrate their victory over Ghana in Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final.

Adam Johnson has been deemed fully fit by Gus Poyet, after only making the bench last weekend as a result of minor thumb surgery. Connor Wickham has recovered from injury, though Emmanuele Giaccherini and Jack Rodwell are doubtful for the home clash against QPR. Billy Jones is available again after missing out through injury at the weekend.

QPR caretaker boss Chris Ramsey has confirmed Rio Ferdinand and Bobby Zamora will start against the Black Cats, with the likes of Richard Dunne, Nedum Onouha and Charlie Austin all ruled out through injury. Ramsey also revealed Mauro Zarate is in contention to be named in the first XI.

Wayne Routledge has returned to full training for Swansea after recovering from a calf complaint, whilst Modou Barrow is expected to shrug off a knee knock in time to face West Brom tomorrow.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s 7.30pm deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Ozil, Cazorla- form players who have potential to assist and score. Just want to know your thought process behind Giroud (c).

Last 3 games Giroud has got points. Plus they are at home to Leicester. If Sanchez was fit and playing I would go for him but he's been out. What if Wenger puts him on the bench and gives him 15 mins at the end? It's a tricky one though.

    Pick 1 to start please:

    Puncheon (NEW)
    Terry (EVE)
    Clyne (WHU)

All my rivals will have one or both of these

I'd stick with the 4-3-3 you have there.

Who to captain if Sanchez doesn't start?

    A) Cazorla
    B) Hazard
    C) Aguero
    D) Kane
    E) Defoe

Depends where you are in your mini-league. If you're top and comfortable, Hazard. If you're not and need a differential, Defoe. I'm guessing (if it's anything like my mini-leagues) that everyone else has A-D.

I have 2 free transfers already so don't want to not make one as it would be wasted. I can't carry 3 over to next week. Any suggestions?

    Ospina (Foster)
Terry - PVA - Wisdom - (Gardos) (Wolschied)
    Sanchez - Hazrd - Sterling - Hendo - (Boyd)
    Aguero - Kane - Giroud

Both Wisdom and Gardos will be sold immediately if dropped long term so I was gonna wait a week for selling Wisdom in case he gets back in. Target is out this week so Gardos should start. Long term I am looking at dropping Giroud for Sturridge and Gardos for Alderweireld when fit.

Having three Arsenal midfielders including captain I lost the equivalent of a defender cleansheet with that goal! 😯
