Think it was more that Welbeck was preferred for tracking back vs the Palace wingers. Walcott has a fight to become first choice imo, lot of strong competition for his place, and he wont always start like he did pre injury.

I still don't understand how Burnley got a draw out of that game. Anyone see the Matic incident? He doesn't usually lose his cool like that. I'll tell you something though. Burnley didn't just sit back and defend deep. They played a high line and high press. Very few teams do that at Stamford Bridge. They were quite impressive and are a better team than I thought.They are high energy, and whilst he went over the ball in the tackle Barnes was fit to put it up to quite a physical Chelsea team.
