What would you do with this lot?

    Jakupovic – Pantilimon
van Aanholt – Coloccini – Wollscheid – Clyne – Dawson
    Hazard – Sánchez – Silva – Boyd – Cazorla
    Defoe – Agüero – Kane

2 FT, £2.0m in the bank.

    Willing to take a hit.

Obviously this involves no injuries tomorrow.

    Thanks in advance.

Caz to Erik for the DGW, keep PvA for now IMO, no rush to get him out
I'd use the other FT to also strengthen the attack TM, Defoe upgrade or to Austin?

Not sure if you want Erik. If you do, let me know who's best to bin, coz I ain't gotta clue! Can't see past Def-Austin myself, then seems a bit dangerous to go without Erik for the week.

I think Rose is worth the price. Even if he only plays once this week his fixtures are very good after. Vertonghen is nailed but not worth that price. Walker could be a nice differential with his attacking threat.

And then, of course, there was Phil Jones, charging about with all the creativity of a side of beef let off its hook in the freezer, charging about like a farmer’s lad who has discreetly slid an egg into the back pocket of his corduroy trousers for a snack later on, only for mother duck to catch him in the act, chasing him around the barnyard, quacking and pecking at his backside with her beak.

Might be best to just let him smash into people in central midfield. Either that or get him someone experienced to play alongside. He had Ryan Nelsen when he came through for us and although not a top class player, he was a great leader and talker

Suarez had an open net and still passed it to Messi.
Such an unselfish player. Gave Sturridge a lot of tap ins too.

Rush was a far better finisher than Suarez.
Dalglish was a far better assister than Suarez.
            So far.
Suarez has both though, and is still young. Could easily become better than both. Boo, hiss , though, because he left for Barca before becoming a true LfC legend. That's the way it is these days. At least Rushy came back from Italy after realizing that they didn't speak englishis there 🙂

    Little repost:

ADM and Defoe to Eriksen and Austin no brainer?
What about transfers the week after: Cresswell and Cazorla to Naughton and Silva?

I know it's a long time ahead but just to give me an idea, Cresswell has some nice fixtures but after today's game don't know if he is getting any clean sheets 😀 Also Silva seems like a must have.

I am doing ADM to Silva on the basis I don't think Erikson will start both games in 28.

Depends on your future plans. Vert more likely to get both games in this crowded schedule but you could hold rose as he should play most games going forward, has more attacking threat and is better value, freeing up funds elsewhere

Yeah. Hit the nail on the head there. Would prefer Rose going forward but at the end of the day though this DGW is more important where I will def play them. Going forward I will likely downgrade anyways to afford Costa and Ivanovic at some point

Liverpool have won just two of the last 12 Premier League matches against Man City (W2 D6 L4).

The Reds are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League matches (W7 D3); the best record of any side over the last 10 games.

Liverpool have had 14 different scorers in the Premier League, the joint-most along with Arsenal.

Liverpool somewhat have form but City are our bogey team despite that spectacular win last season.

Manchester City have scored two or more goals in each of their last six Barclays Premier League games against Liverpool.

When these two sides met back in August, City scored with three of their four shots on target.

Man City have the highest number of different players with five or more goals (5).

    Good news for Aguero/Silva captainers.

First time this season I miss my deadline, and team has done pretty decently this week so far. Though being left with Sanchez(c) could cost me some points.

Anyway, with 2 FT left, I can finally look forward to cleaning up on my botched winter WC.

    Team's like.

    Krul, Ospina,
Bertrand, Stones, Wollscheid, Naughton, van Aanholt,
Sanchez, *di Maria, Hazard, Silva, *Lucas,
    *Defoe, Kane, Aguero.

Kane, right now, is only guy with a DGW.
As for moves I can do, I am looking forward to selling ADM, and Eriksen is the obvious choice. Or would you rather go Sterling?

As for the other move, Defoe to Austin OR van Aanholt to Stones both sound appealing here.

Some help would be appreciated. 🙂

Score predictions for Liverpool v City?

    I reckon 3-2 City.

City will need to attack, and being the home team Liverpool like to play that quick-pressing game.

Should be a very open match with plenty of goals, but after playing 120 mins on Thursday with more or less a full side, I think City will nick it.
