I read "Rivers of London" recently which was really good. Apparently it was a really popular when it came out in 2011 but missed the boat. Sort of a modern fantasy type thing, quite quirky and very well done. Good fun.

If you have to do it for price rises yes, but avoid if you can. Silva is rather brittle.
