After a reasonably low-scoring Saturday (for me at least), we have three remaining Sunday afternoon fixtures to increase our tallies. And with the four most selected captains in action today, according to our poll, we have every chance.

The first of two televised games sees Roberto’s Mancini’s Manchester City play host to Newcastle United. The headline team news for the 1:30pm game is that Newcastle leave striker, and fantasy favourite, Andy Carroll on the bench for the first time this season. For Man City, Jerome Boateng starts his first league game and Adam Johnson is once again on the bench, despite scoring mid-week…

Man City: Hart, Boateng, Toure, Kompany, Lescott, De Jong, Barry, Silva, Toure Yaya, Milner, Tevez

Newcastle: Krul, Perch, Williamson, Coloccini, Jose Enrique, Ben Arfa, Nolan, Tiote, Barton, Gutierrez, Ameobi

Then, on the other channel, Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea at 4pm, where both clubs are looking to bounce back from defeats last week. Elsewhere, and not on the box, 18th-placed Liverpool take on 16th-placed Blackpool at 3pm.

    when playing your WC is it best to make all the transfers then at the end of the window decide on the team then click use WC, thus getting rid of the point hits?

          It's a game, if you can't be willing to accept that everyone won't go your way in this (and it rarely does). He got injured, I can't do anything about stuff like that happening.

          (Yes, he gets injured a lot it seems, but I was willing to risk that).

            Can't see how someone who is seemingly on here 24/7, spends time writing reports and contributing to the site wouldn't be that bothered. That is a lot of dedication to give for a 'oh well' attitude when it goes tits up. Nothing wrong with being peeved, even if just a game.

              Because I enjoy this game, so I'm willing (and in the right kind of mood) to consider this unfortunate rather than damning.

              If every little thing bothered me about this game, I wouldn't be playing - I have a more lackadaisical approach to the game. On another day I might have been more peeved, but not today - all is well, and I've been caught out by dear Fernando's stricken legs. On to gameweek 8.
