With Olivier Giroud having hit wonderful form it is understandable to consider him as essential as the likes of Kane and, depending on where you now stand, Aguero and Austin.

Looking at the way Giroud scores his goals it is clear that he is thriving on being in the right target areas at the right time. Arsenal style of play is adapted to suit him in that dangerous balls get put into the area a lot and he takes the chances. In this way, by the very nature of what OPR must do to provide service to their top scorer, Charlie Austin can be seen as similar to Giroud, Somewhat not proved by yesterday's events, Harry Kane seems to be more free playing and more willing to take on players as well as finishing off the same opportunities as the likes of Giroud and Austin and at any rate, Kane's form speaks for itself. He is a monster for fantasy league points, a must have.

Therefore, Aguero aside, it is wise to weigh up the potential of Giroud in the coming weeks compared to Austin and whether or not you can afford to risk not having Giroud. Having scored 5 goals in the reverse league fixtures against both teams he plays in his DGW, Austin instantly commands potential. Yes, West Brom and Villa are better teams now and yes, both games are away from home but you can't ignore form like that in a DGW. Not to mention that he has had the most shots inside in the box over the last 4 GWs compared to any other player.

Giroud faces a tough task against a wise Liverpool who are not afraid to cancel the likes of hm out with Skrtel and Sakho and the defending which has earnt them so many clean sheets of late.. Then he travels to Turf Moor to face a Burnley side who graft out work ethic and determination ever game, before blanking the next GW.

Therefore, I believe Austin owners should not be considering transferring out. He hasn't even played this GW for a start and the underlying stats speak for themselves,

Does no one still believe that good enough players can be 'due' goals if he haven't scored as prolifically of late? Austin and Aguero will score and when that time comes, you won't want to have spent two FTs getting rid of them in the run up while Giroud's thunder gets stolen by the multitude of talent within Arsernal's squad.

Just my thoughts on the matter...

Myhill for another 2 or 3 GWs, Davis likely to be more (we'll see). Davis looking the better bet currently, but if you want to be sure wait for them to report on Forster's injury.

Any decent Sanchez replacement? Most of us already have Silva,Eriksen and Hazard.

Not sure about Mane or Siggy. They both have pretty good fixtures but I would rather have Clyne,Berty,Naughty out of those teams.

Getting cheap 4th mid would allow me to get Costa in for Austin after dgw. Was thinking about Henderson if Liverpool have dgw 34.

Altough if Costa gets 9 yc today I will probably get Oscar or Fabreagas for Sanchez.

Mane or Ramsey for me. I'd still like to have an Arsenal mid for their run home, and Ramsey has been getting chances lately.

Mane is one of Soton's main sources of goals/assists from here on in, good value.

Asked the same question here yesterday, wanted to get Sanchez out before the price drop. From the general consensus, I just kept him for this week. Using a transfer right now to take him out for anyone else doesn't seem worth it. Planning to save the transfer this week, and then have a longer time to decide what to do. Have the same basic plan:

      Austin>CotsaCosta
      Sanchez?

A couple of weeks ago I was loving it now all I can see is holes.

    Berty Terry Bellerin* Naughton Hutton

    Coutinho Sanchez Haz Erik Boyd

Current forwards are Costa, Benteke and Kane.. tempted to get Austin for DGW.. if I should get Austin, who to sell to get him? Or just stay with the 3?

The captain has paid massive dividends last two weeks for me.

        Benching Kane though..... Ouch

Took a rage (-12) last week, going Rooney, Aguero, Puncheon and Zouma > Ivan, Mané, Giroud and Costa. Captained Kane today and am at 75 on the weekend with Costa, Ivan and Hazard to play 🙂

The other (-12) I took this year I had a top 1k gameweek...now I don't think I'll ever take one again after those successes.

Vertonghen, Sanchez should leave asap. Finding a replacement for Sanchez is tricky though. Vertonghen to Bertrand/Clyne/Ivan?
Austin can be changed to Costa after DGW.

Just get rid of Vert ASAP

      Vert >> Naughton

If you did this move would you be able to do Austin >> Costa transfer following Gw?

Vert, Mane and Sanchez make little appeal at present. Austin too but you may as well keep with the dgw coming up.

      Sanchez->Silva is a priority imo.
May as well do Vert->Hutton to free up cash and take advantage of the dgw.

You wouldn't need previous purchase history but the big games are still sold out.

Joining was around 15 pounds but I've not been back for 2 years so may have changed.

I think it will be difficult to get tickets to "top" games . Perhaps best to aim a little lower..
I have just returned from UK , had tickets for Arse - WH , loved it ( Giroud Cpt too).
Will help if you have any family , friends in the Uk , with contacts.

True. For WH-City game earlier this season was really easy to get tickets even without memership.

Without contact with members of a particular club , I think you will need to register with club of choice . Then you have direct access to info on availability and can apply accordingly ?
Think this will be the only way to try for those "top game" tickets ?
