Latest News: Ben White is out for the season after suffering a "significant" knee injury in the win over West Ham United last Sunday. He joins Mikel Merino (foot) on the sidelines. Speaking to the media on Thursday, Mikel Arteta also hinted heavily that Jurrien Timber (ankle) was still out, saying that his two recognised right-backs "are not available". While Arteta added that the Dutchman had "progressed a little bit in the last few days", Timber was nowhere to be seen in Thursday's training footage. And there was no sight of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba or Martin Odegaard on the same day, either, although their absences have been downplayed by the media, with suggestions of individual training/recovery days. That's been a common practise throughout the campaign. Someone who was seen on the grass was Riccardo Calafiori, who came off at half-time last weekend. Calafiori was one of the names mentioned by journalists in Arteta's presser as a possible understudy at right-back, along with Declan Rice, who spent time in that position in Gameweek 36, and Cristhian Mosquera, who took over in the second half. Mosquera is probably the favourite, unless Arteta decides to throw caution to the wind in this eminently winnable game and play a more attacking option there. Piero Hincapie will be on standby if Calafiori isn't fit enough or switches to right-back, while it wouldn't be a surprise if one of Arteta's trusted lieutenants, Martin Odegaard, returns to the side after an impressive cameo in Gameweek 36. Eberechi Eze looks to be the favourite to may way, especially as Leandro Trossard is in good form on the left wing, where Eze has also featured recently. Other than that, you'd imagine Arteta goes with mostly the same side that won at West Ham.

Latest News: The Villa team news is pretty much the same as last week, with Amadou Onana (calf), Boubacar Kamara (knee) and Alysson (unspecified) still out. Loanee Harvey Elliott can't play, either, as he's ineligible to face his parent club, but he's long been surplus to requirements at Villa anyway. It's a huge week for the Villans, with a UEFA Europa League final to come on Wednesday. Unai Emery, however, only has eyes on the Premier League and a top-five finish, and he won't want to go into the final day at the risk of needing a result at Manchester City to ensure Champions League qualification for next season. We're expecting a strong team against Liverpool, then, although there are the usual week-to-week calls (eg Emi Buendia or Ross Barkley?) for Emery to make.

Latest News: Andoni Iraola won't face the media until after Friday's deadline, and it could be as late as Monday before we get the Bournemouth team news for Gameweek 37. Aside from any fresh concerns we may not know about, the two main questions are a) will Alex Jimenez still be suspended by the club and b) will Lewis Cook (hamstring/calf) be deemed match-fit enough after a return to training? Adam Smith will be poised to continue at right-back if Jimenez misses out again, while Cook will likely only be a substitute at best, even if he does make the squad. There is one bit of team news we do know about: Ryan Christie begins a three-match ban after his red card last weekend. Tyler Adams likely comes in for him. It's difficult to see too many changes elsewhere, with Justin Kluivert - a bit like Cook - very likely still not ready to start after months out. The lack of Christie, and Cook's rustiness, certainly increases the likelihood of Eli Kroupi starting in the '10'. Time was when Iraola would have opted for a more conservative option in that position in a game of this magnitude but the Bournemouth boss gave a huge show of faith to Kroupi away at Arsenal in Gameweek 32, and he hasn't looked back since.

Latest News: The Brentford team news is unchanged from last weekend, with no new concerns and only Rico Henry (hamstring), Antoni Milambo (knee) and Fábio Carvalho (knee) on the sidelines. Henry looks set to lose his battle to play again this season. Keith Andrews made some horses-for-courses changes in Gameweek 36, dropping Dango Ouattara, promoting Aaron Hickey and swapping Sepp van den Berg for Kristoffer Ajer (presumably as a bespoke tactic to combat Erling Haaland), but back on home soil this weekend, you'd imagine he reverts to the more attacking 4-2-3-1/4-3-3, featuring Dango on the right, that he's favoured for much of his tenure. The fit-again Vitaly Janelt got his first game-time since Gameweek 27 last weekend, and he could oust Yehor Yarmoliuk from the side; Sunday may still be too soon. It's not impossible that Ajer keeps his place, either, as van den Berg and Nathan Collins haven't exactly been overly convincing together this season.

Latest News: Kaoru Mitoma will miss the final two Gameweeks with the hamstring injury he picked up last Saturday. The Japan international joins Stefanos Tzimas and Adam Webster (both knee) on the sidelines. Diego Gomez (knee) is "definitely" available, however, while Mats Wieffer (ankle) could also return, with the Seagulls to assess the Dutchman ahead of Sunday's trip to Leeds. Mitoma's injury last weekend saw Yankuba Minteh switch over to the left, Ferdi Kadioglu push up the right flank and Joel Veltman brought on at full-back. The fit-again Gomez is an option on the right wing, of course (Kadioglu would move back to right-back in that scenario), but whether his manager will start him after a month out is another question. Georginio Rutter and Solly March are other alternatives on the right. Fabian Hurzeler hinted that Maxim De Cuyper would keep his place, saying the Belgian had deputised for Wieffer (albeit not in the same position) "in a very impressive way". Carlos Baleba is also getting back to something approaching his best, and is currently seeing off James Milner and Yasin Ayari in the engine room. Pascal Gross, Jack Hinshelwood and Danny Welbeck, who all played big parts in Brighton's recent good run of form, were spoken of highly by their manager on Thursday.

Latest News: Interim boss Mike Jackson has no major new concerns for the trip to Arsenal. Hannibal Mejbri is "coming along well" after limping out of the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa but there'll be a late call on him. The only others on the injury list are Ashley Barnes (muscle), Josh Cullen (knee) and Jordan Beyer (hamstring), with another long-term absentee, Connor Roberts (Achilles), playing 45 minutes for the under-21s on Thursday. Jackson hinted that Max Weiss might keep his place at the Emirates, having replaced hitherto ever-present starter Martin Dubravka against the Villans. Indeed, you'd imagine that the caretaker head coach rewards most of last weekend's team with another start on Monday, after a creditable display against Unai Emery's side. In terms of possible changes, there is a decent chance that Jackson throws in another centre-half to combat Arsenal's aerial strength, with Bashir Humphreys, Josh Laurent or Hjalmar Ekdal competing for that privilege. It's difficult to say who would miss out after last Sunday's performance, although a fitness problem for Hannibal would, of course, make that decision a lot easier.

Latest News: Robert Sanchez (head), Pedro Neto (knock) and Alejandro Garnacho (knock) have all returned to training this week and could feature in Saturday's FA Cup final, which comes three days before the Gameweek 37 clash with Tottenham Hotspur. Jesse Derry (head), Estevao (hamstring) and, to the best of our knowledge, Jamie Gittens (hamstring) are still out, however. It's difficult to predict who starts on Tuesday, as we've yet to see what pans out in the cup final. Injuries could happen at Wembley, while, for instance, the game going to extra-time would perhaps influence how much certain players could contribute against Spurs. If we think about who is likely to start on Saturday, the newly fit-again Levi Colwill and Reece James are now contenders - and so two starts for that pair in little more than 72 hours could be a risk. Wesley Fofana, similarly, has been carefully managed during quick turnarounds this season. The likes of Malo Gusto, Trevoh Chalobah, Jorrel Hato and/or Tosin Adarabioyo could feature against Spurs, then. Similarly, cup final minutes may dictate which of Neto/Garnacho and Andrey Santos/Romeo Lavia may start in Gameweek 37. McFarlane surely won't want to throw out a complete 'B' side against the London rivals, however.

Latest News: Eddie Nketiah (hamstring) and Cheick Doucoure (knee/muscle/match fitness) remain out, while this game likely comes too soon for Borna Sosa (unspecified). Evann Guessand (knee) has returned to training after five weeks on the sidelines, however, and could feature off the bench. You'd expect the minute management to continue on Sunday, as Glasner aims to straddle the fine line between avoiding unnecessary injuries before the Conference League final and maintaining rhythm ahead of that meeting with Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig. Daichi Kamada, Adam Wharton, Ismaila Sarr and Jorgen Strand Larsen all dropped to the bench at the Etihad on Wednesday, so you'd expect those four to return at the expense of Will Hughes, Jefferson Lerma, Brennan Johnson and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Yeremy Pino could also make way, perhaps for Justin Devenny, but Pino had less than an hour in midweek and a complete breather against Everton last weekend. In terms of the back five (and goalkeeper), there's been far less tinkering. The Gameweek 35 clash with Bournemouth was the one exception, when Tyrick Mitchell and Daniel Munoz had 45 minutes apiece and Chris Richards was benched, but that match came in between the two-legged Conference League semi-final. Otherwise, Glasner has barely touched his defence.

Latest News: Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Jack Grealish (foot) remain sidelined for the Toffees, as does Idrissa Gana Gueye. The Senegalese midfielder has been out for a fortnight with a "slight" injury and, while he's back on the grass, he won't be ready for this one. Beto saw off the challenge of Thierno Barry (who scored a brace against City) to keep his place last weekend, and the in-form Guinea-Bissau international repaid his manager's faith with a goal against Crystal Palace. There seems little jeopardy to his place this week, then. Probably the one spot up for grabs is Merlin Rohl's. The German produced a fine display against City before having a quieter game against Palace, and there are more natural wingers in Tyrique George and Dwight McNeil waiting for their chance. Even Carlos Alcaraz and Harrison Armstrong are options out wide. It should be noted that this will be Seamus Coleman's final home match for Everton, so the veteran Irishman may get minutes of some variety in front of the Toffees' faithful, if circumstances allow. A start would be a tall order - he's only made one all season, and injury ended that after nine minutes - so a late cameo seems the likeliest scenario. Everton are still pushing for Europe, too, so this is no time for a glorified testimonial - and Moyes hinted in his presser that there may be no room for sentiment.

Latest News: Joachim Andersen begins a three-match ban after his sending off last weekend, so Issa Diop looks set to come into the back four. Ryan Sessegnon (muscle) also remains out but Alex Iwobi (hamstring) is back in contention after returning to training over the last week or so. Silva usually eases players back in after injury but he made such a big deal of Iwobi's return in his presser that it sounds like he may start (he's been out for a month), either in the problem left-wing position or in central midfield at the expense of Tom Cairney. It remains to be seen if Sander Berge or Raul Jimenez are start-ready after their recent illnesses; they failed to even get off the bench in Gameweek 36, having been badly affected by a bug. Kenny Tete also hasn't made it onto the field since his return to fitness, while you'd imagine it would be too early for a Kevin start after so long out. The big question: will Harry Wilson keep his place? His form has dipped recently and he's been subbed off after an hour in the last two Gameweeks, while Oscar Bobb - who has flopped on the left - looked half-decent on his preferred right wing after replacing Wilson in Gameweek 36. Do Fulham want to keep Wilson onside on the off-chance he does decide to stay? Does Silva even care, as he could be leaving this summer, too? Whichever call the Fulham boss makes, Wilson is no longer the 90-minute man of before.

Latest News: Gabriel Gudmundsson (hamstring), Ilia Gruev (hamstring), Jayden Bogle (hamstring) and Noah Okafor (calf) remain out for the Whites, while loanee Facundo Buonanotte is ineligible to face his parent club. It doesn't end there: Pascal Struijk (hip) is a "big doubt", having yet to train this week, and Ethan Ampadu is now a "major doubt" with an illness. Farke does tend to exaggerate concerns, only for the players to feature in the next game, so there's still every chance of seeing the pair at Elland Road on Sunday. If not, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Sean Longstaff could get rare chances to impress. Daniel James flopped in the right wing-back position against Spurs so, after impressing off the bench, could Wilfried Gnonto also get a long-awaited start down that flank? Farke may alternatively switch to a back four, with Joe Rodon as a right-back. Lukas Nmecha is another who is pushing for a start after a bright showing as a substitute in Gameweek 36, potentially at the expense of Brenden Aaronson.

Latest News: Mohamed Salah (hamstring) will return to the Liverpool squad at Villa Park, although Arne Slot said on Thursday that he could only contribute "a few minutes". A place on the bench beckons. Alisson (muscle) and Florian Wirtz (stomach bug) are, like the Egyptian, back in training, but Slot couldn't say for certain whether either would feature. Wirtz "is on antibiotics" and will be assessed before the game, while the Liverpool boss said there'd be a late call on whether Alisson "is ready or has to wait for one more week". Wataru Endo (foot), Hugo Ekitike (Achilles), Conor Bradley (knee), Stefan Bajcetic (hamstring), Jayden Danns (hamstring) and Giovanni Leoni (knee) remain out but Ibrahima Konate is, at least, okay after cramp forced him off in Gameweek 36. We had Alexander Isak in this predicted line-up originally but the Swedish striker was nowhere to be seen in training images/video on Thursday, so there's a possible question mark over his involvement. Rio Ngumoha could get a stay of execution then (as his performances merit), although Wirtz could equally return to take the teenager's place. Giorgi Mamardashvili will deputise again if Alisson isn't ready to feature, while you'd imagine that Salah and Andrew Robertson will get their chances to start in Gameweek 38, in what will be their final appearances in front of the Anfield faithful. A Champions League place may be secured by then, taking the edge off the final day.

Latest News: Pep Guardiola provided the usual update ("we'll see") on Rodri (groin) when asked about the midfielder's availability for the FA Cup final on Saturday. Apart from that, though, City have no other fitness concerns ahead of the trip to Wembley. That's reassuring news for owners of Nico O'Reilly, who was absent from the Manchester City squad for the midweek win over Crystal Palace. As for the Gameweek 37 trip to Bournemouth, which takes place next Tuesday, Guardiola has put it to the back of his mind, saying that the game will have "zero" impact on his team selection this weekend. That makes second-guessing what the City boss will do at the Vitality Stadium all the more difficult, and that's even before we consider the possibility of injuries happening at Wembley or the game going to extra-time. Guardiola did make it sound like his rotation against the Eagles (rests for the likes of Rayan Cherki, Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and O'Reilly) was made in order to keep the big names fresh for the next two games, but then peripheral players like Phil Foden have really caught the eye in their stead. Still, Foden as a 'DM' did seem like a horses-for-courses selection against the deep block of Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth are the polar opposite of that. The return to fitness of Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol gives Guardiola a welcome selection headache at centre-half and left-back, although O'Reilly could, of course, shift into midfield to accommodate the latter.

Benjamin Sesko (shin) is still not "100%", however, and Matthijs de Ligt (back) will be out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery. Manuel Ugarte, who wasn't mentioned by Michael Carrick, has trained this week, having missed out last weekend. Carrick gave rare chances to the likes of Mason Mount, Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee at Sunderland, but a much-changed side responded with a turgid display on Wearside. While the now-permanent United boss said the club was "not judging any individual on one performance", you do wonder if he'll go back to a stronger line-up for this final home match of the campaign. Casemiro surely starts on his Old Trafford farewell, while Bryan Mbeumo will also be pushing for a recall. Joelinton (thigh) is a fresh concern, however, while Lewis Miley (foot), Emil Krafth (knee), Tino Livramento (thigh) and Fabian Schar (ankle/foot) are all still unavailable. Eddie Howe gave another big hint that Anthony Gordon's future lies away from Tyneside and that he'll continue to warm the bench in the meantime, saying "part of what we will be doing" in the final two Gameweeks "is looking to next year". Two substitutes who Howe praised following the draw with Nottingham Forest, Harvey Barnes and Jacob Ramsey, should be in line for a recall, with Joelinton's possible absence clearing the pathway for one of those players. Nick Woltemade might have to drop out to accommodate the other but Barnes did play on the right wing when he was brought on at the City Ground, so it might be Jacob Murphy making way instead. Whether Woltemade features in Howe's plans for next season may be a deciding factor there. Someone who won't be on Tyneside in 2026/27 is Kieran Trippier, who will almost certainly get minutes of some variety - a start or a run-out off the bench - in his final home game. Yoane Wissa for William Osula is another possibility, should Howe want to get another look at the DR Congo international before the summer.

However, there is some positive news to report from the Forest camp, as Dan Ndoye and Ibrahima Sangare, two short-term absentees who had unspecified issues, have returned to training this week. Even better, Morgan Gibbs-White (facial injury) could feature against Manchester United on Sunday, having returned to training in a protective mask. The player himself has said he is "okay" to feature, although Vitor Pereira did add that there'd be a check on whether "he is ready or if he's in condition for the next game". The Tricky Trees looked better after they ditched the wing-back system last weekend, so Morato may be the surplus centre-half who has to make way this time. Gibbs-White or James McAtee could come in on the left. Omari Hutchinson and Chris Wood were handed breathers against Newcastle United, having started in the UEFA Europa League semi-final three days earlier. However, with Dilane Bakwa and Taiwo Awoniyi performing pretty well at present, do Wood and Hutchinson get back in the side this Sunday? While Ndoye is down the pecking order on the flanks, Sangare is definitely an option in the middle of the park - it's just whether he's match-fit enough after three weeks out. With Aina and Murillo out, promising pair Luca Netz and Jair Cunha should continue in their respective positions.

Latest News: Dan Ballard continues to serve a three-match ban after his Gameweek 35 red card, while Romaine Mundle's (hamstring) season is over. Other than that, though, Regis Le Bris said on Friday that Sunderland have a fully-fit squad. That includes Bertrand Traore (knee), who returned to training last week. He could be back in the matchday squad at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, having been not rushed back in Gameweek 36. Sunderland produced their best performance in a couple of months against United, so Le Bris might be tempted to stick with the same XI. The Black Cats' head coach certainly hasn't shown any intention of handing out sentimental starts to peripheral squad players, despite there being nothing tangible to play for. Recent returnees Traore, Jocelin Ta Bi and Nilson Angulo have been out for months and may still be short of match fitness, although the latter did at least get off the bench for 15 minutes against United. Trai Hume's spot is certainly up for grabs if and when one of the wingers is deemed ready. With Enzo Le Fee impressing in a '10' role and earning the praise of his manager, Habib Diarra will not be overly confident of reclaiming his place.

Latest News: We're not expecting to hear from Roberto De Zerbi before the FPL deadline, so we look set to be without Spurs team news heading into Gameweek 37. Of the players in the treatment room, Dominic Solanke (hamstring) is thought to be the closest to a return, with De Zerbi saying last Thursday that the trip to Chelsea was a target return date. There's less optimism about Guglielmo Vicario (hernia), whose recovery from surgery has dragged on longer than expected, but Antonin Kinsky is in such good form anyway that Vicario may struggle to get back in the side even when fit. Xavi Simons (knee), Cristian Romero (knee), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), Wilson Odobert (knee), Ben Davies (ankle) and Dejan Kulusevski (knee) are the others on the injury list. A fine performance against Aston Villa saw De Zerbi stick with the same team for Monday's draw with Leeds but De Zerbi admitted that the Lilywhites "didn’t play well", with the pressure of a high-stakes relegation fight perhaps starting to show. Solanke, if fit, for Richarlison is one possible alteration on Tuesday, although the Brazilian's misfiring performance against Daniel Farke's side came only one game after a much better showing at Villa Park. It's doubtful whether James Maddison is ready to start yet, as De Zerbi said he played longer than expected in Gameweek 36 despite only appearing as an 85th-minute substitute. The Spurs boss is at least stocked with midfield alternatives in the shape of Lucas Bergvall, Yves Bissouma, Archie Gray and Pape Matar Sarr.

Latest News: With the exception of Adama Traore (muscle), who will miss out again, Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed on Friday that he has everyone available for the trip to Newcastle. Nuno switched to a 3-4-3 for the match against Arsenal but with a win desperately needed in the fight to beat the drop, and with Newcastle not the force of previous seasons, might the West Ham boss go back to the 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1? That would allow Pablo a return, likely at the expense of Jeanclair Todibo. Callum Wilson is an alternative to Pablo, of course, and the former Newcastle striker would have had another substitute goal to his name had VAR not intervened against Arsenal. Still, he's started just two of the last 16 league matches (not lasting beyond 60 minutes in any of them), and Nuno may prefer the graft of Pablo initially before turning to Wilson later in the game. Aaron Wan-Bissaka returned at the expense of Kyle Walker-Peters last weekend. Apart from him and Pablo, everyone else in this predicted XI has started all of the last five league games (and many more beyond in a lot of cases).

Latest News: Jose Sa (ankle) has resumed training this week and is available for selection. Ladislav Krejci (neck), who was an unused substitute last weekend, has also been on the grass since Gameweek 36, while Hugo Bueno is fine after his half-time withdrawal at Brighton. Other than that, the only known absentee is Sam Johnstone (shoulder), although Rob Edwards did say that Wolves had a few “knocks” elsewhere. In a poor display, the Old Goal shipped three goals at the Amex last week, which increases the likelihood of Sa reclaiming his place from Dan Bentley in goal. Elsewhere at the back, Krejci and Rodrigo Gomes could come in for Toti Gomes and Pedro Lima, who had a really tough time on the south coast. David Moller Wolfe is an option at left wing-back, too. Further forward, Hwang Hee-chan was Edwards’ chosen central striker in Gameweek 36. He could be offered another opportunity here, with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde an alternative, should Edwards want a bit more creativity in the final third. In that scenario, Adam Armstrong would line up through the middle, with Bellegarde and Mateus Mane behind him.
