Latest News: Mikel Arteta was actually relatively helpful on Friday, confirming that David Raya (knock) and Max Dowman (ankle) were fit and that Ben White (niggle) is out. Even then, there's plenty left unresolved. The uncertainties are Declan Rice, who asked to be taken off on Sunday, Martin Odegaard (knee) and Kai Havertz. The latter was involved against Chelsea as a late substitute, having just returned from injury, and did "a part of the session" on Tuesday. On Odegaard, who missed out in Gameweek 28, Arteta said that they'd have to "wait and see how comfortable he is to do certain actions". As for Rice, the Arsenal boss said he was "much better" - and if there is a glimmer of hope for the England international, it's that Arteta didn't think to discuss him when asked about injuries ("The rest... I don't think, there is anybody else"). It could, of course, simply be more chicanery from the Gunners' head coach. Doubts over Havertz, Odegaard and even Rice probably increase Eberechi Eze's xMins for the short term, while we've frequently seen Arteta protect Bukayo Saka in quick turnarounds, which could let Noni Madueke in. The same goes for Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli on the opposite flank, although there is an FA Cup fifth-round tie beyond this in which to protect the regulars. Riccardo Calafiori for Piero Hincapie is also a possibility at left-back.

Latest News: Boubacar Kamara (knee), Youri Tielemans (ankle) and John McGinn (knee) remain out for Aston Villa. As for Harvey Elliott, even if he is fit (he was ruled out a few weeks ago with little information since), it’s highly unlikely that he will be considered for selection. Unai Emery made adjustments to his defence at Molineux on Friday, opting for Pau Torres and Lucas Digne over Tyrone Mings and Ian Maatsen. However, given the lacklustre nature of the performance, as well as Mings experiencing a “niggle” leading up to it, these changes could easily be reversed in Gameweek 29. Amadou Onana and Douglas Luiz should continue in the engine room, but other alterations could take place further forward. Ross Barkley for Emiliano Buendia is one potential switch, with Jadon Sancho and Leon Bailey also in the mix for the attacking midfield spots. Morgan Rogers will, of course, start regardless. Ollie Watkins v Tammy Abraham is another decision for Emery to make up top. Abraham is pushing for a start and probably should have seen more minutes recently, having scored off the bench against Leeds in Gameweek 27. That said, Watkins has been a starter in nine of Villa’s last 10 Premier League games and might be selected for this one, too, given his impact off the bench against Chelsea earlier this term.

Latest News: Andoni Iraola is unsure whether Evanilson (dead leg) will be fit for Tuesday's game. The Brazilian sat out training on Sunday because he was "very sore" but the Cherries trained again on Monday evening and there was set to be an assessment after that. Lewis Cook (hamstring), Justin Kluivert (knee), Julio Soler (hamstring) and Ben Gannon-Doak (hamstring) remain out, meanwhile, but Marcos Senesi "should be fine", despite picking up a knock against Sunderland. One of the lesser-spotted Bafode Diakite and Veljko Milosavljevi? would step in at centre-half, should Senesi's issue be worse than anticipated. Evanilson would almost certainly have started (and may yet still) had he not suffered a dead leg late on in Saturday's match, and any lingering doubts over the Brazilian could give Eli Kroupi a stay of execution up top. The alternative, should Evanilson be ruled out, is starting with Enes Unai up front, but Iraola hasn't done that in the league since December 2024. Elsewhere, Tyler Adams is a candidate for a breather. He struggled against the Black Cats, with Ryan Christie impressing off the bench, and as he's not long back from a two-month absence, it's possible that Adams' minutes may be managed here - even though it'd leave the Cherries without a bona fide 'six'. Amine Adli for David Brooks is another very plausible alteration, while it remains to be seen if Iraola hands a successive start to the influential Marcus Tavernier so soon after his return from a six-week absence. If not, we could see Alex Toth brought in or Brooks keep his place.

Latest News: Keith Andrews confirmed that Caoimhin Kelleher will return to the Bees' squad after missing out in Gameweek 28 to attend the birth of his child. However, two of his teammates who also sat out the seven-goal thriller at Turf Moor will be out for a longer period. Aaron Hickey (hamstring) will "return after the March international break", while Vitaly Janelt (foot) has a metatarsal injury and is "likely to miss some game time". Reiss Nelson (calf) "is expected to return to full training in the coming days" but will also miss the Bournemouth match, while long-term absentee Josh Dasilva (knee) is in "modified training" and likely won't be seen in a matchday squad for a good while yet. Antoni Milambo and Fábio Carvalho (both knee) remain out, too. Andrews eschewed mass rotation the last time the Bees had a weekend-midweek turnaround (his only change being Yehor Yarmoliuk for Jordan Henderson) but back then his side didn't play till Thursday, allowing for extra recovery. Saying that, he didn't rotate much over Christmas and New Year, either, with eight players ever-present starters from Gameweek 18-21. In terms of horses-for-courses changes, Andrews doesn't often start Mathias Jensen and Mikkel Damsgaard together in central roles. He did so against Burnley home and away but a trip to in-form Bournemouth is a different proposition entirely, and it wouldn't be a shock to see Henderson come in on Tuesday. With Damsgaard in great form at Turf Moor, and, according to Andrews, no longer in need of having his minutes managed, it may be Jensen who has to make way. Kevin Schade and Dango Ouattara came off early enough in Gameweek 28 to suggest they should start again, meanwhile.

Latest News: Fabian Hurzeler is confident that Yasin Ayari (shoulder) will be an option on Wednesday after his recent return to training. So, aside from long-term absentees Adam Webster (knee) and Stefanos Tzimas (knee), the Seagulls are in pretty rude health, with Hurzeler reporting only "some small issues" but "nothing big". The same 11 players have started in the last two league matches, both of them wins, but the Brighton boss confirmed it won't be an unchanged XI against the Gunners. Veterans Danny Welbeck and James Milner are the main candidates to make way, with Hurzeler saying the former "might be an option to rotate" and adding that it was even "more" of a possibility with the latter. Charalampos Kostoulas (or Georginio Rutter) and Carlos Baleba could step into the side, then. The Seagulls' head coach did say that only "one or two players might not be recovered", suggesting there may not be widespread rotation, but Joel Veltman, Olivier Boscagli and Maxim De Cuyper are alternatives at the back should Mats Wieffer (not long back from injury) and/or Lewis Dunk (playing through pain) need minute management. As for Yankuba Minteh, Hurzeler again hinted that the winger needed to do more to get back into the side, so bench duty beckons yet again. Solly March even got on the pitch ahead of him in Gameweek 28.

Latest News: Marcus Edwards (knock) missed out on the seven-goal thriller against Brentford and will be assessed ahead of midweek but Scott Parker has no other new concerns from Gameweek 28. There doesn't seem to be anyone coming off the injury list, either, with Armando Broja (unspecified), Axel Tuanzebe (Achilles), Mike Tresor (ankle), Zeki Amdouni (knee), Josh Cullen (knee), Jordan Beyer (hamstring) and Connor Roberts (Achilles) all sidelined. A first-half debacle against Brentford was preceded by almost the mother of all comebacks, and a few players will have played themselves in and out of Parker's side as a result. Jacob Bruun Larsen was desperately poor and hooked at the interval, while Josh Laurent was also removed at half-time. James Ward-Prowse, barely used by West Ham all season, also looked off the pace, and he may be taken out of the side given the quick turnaround between matches. By contrast, Lyle Foster and Lesley Ugochukwu made a difference off the bench, the former in a right-wing role. He may reprise that, should Edwards miss out again. Kyle Walker, who hadn't been in the best of form, was an unused substitute on Saturday, with Parker saying the decision had partly been taken because he had missed a bit of training due to illness - although he also hinted it was half-tactical, too. If the veteran defender does get reinstated, expect Lucas Pires to make way and Bashir Humphreys to switch flanks.

Latest News: Jamie Gittens (hamstring) and Levi Colwill (knee) remain out, while this game may come too soon for Marc Cucurella (hamstring) and Estevao (hamstring) - although it sounds like both players are pretty close to a return. On the suspension front, Pedro Neto serves a one-match ban following his dismissal on Sunday but Wesley Fofana returns from his own spell on the naughty step. There is more positive news when it comes to fitness, with Liam Rosenior confirming that Cole Palmer available to start again, having suffered only a knock – and not a recurrence of his groin issue – against Arsenal. Reece James is also fine, while Dario Essugo is back in training after a month or so out with an unknown issue. And, having featured off the bench on Sunday, the newly fit-again Romeo Lavia is inching closer to a start. Alejandro Garnacho is the last winger standing and looks poised to come in, although Rosenior could alternatively use Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez as nominal wingers (as he has done recently), move Joao Pedro into the '10' and bring Liam Delap in up top. You'd expect Fofana to return despite a decent effort from Mamadou Sarr against Arsenal, which leaves a straight fight between Malo Gusto and Jorrel Hato at left-back - if, indeed, Cucurella is still out.

Latest News: We're not expecting to hear from Oliver Glasner until after the Gameweek 29 deadline, so we're partly in the dark with the latest team news. We're not expecting anyone back on the injury front: Jean-Philippe Mateta (knee) and Jefferson Lerma (hamstring) will remain sidelined till mid-March, while Eddie Nketiah (hamstring) is out until April. Cheick Doucoure (knee) has been on the grass recently, but it’s not clear how close he is to a playing comeback after being sidelined for 12 months. There's another definite absentee, too, in the shape of Maxence Lacroix, who was sent off at Old Trafford on Sunday. Chadi Riad likely steps in for him. Otherwise, it's a question of how much the outgoing Palace boss wants to freshen things up - and he hasn't done a great deal of that in the past. Evann Guessand has looked the best of the options for the left-sided '10' slot of late but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Brennan Johnson again get the nod, given the immutable law of the ex. Will Hughes for Daichi Kamada is also an option: the former injected some energy into proceedings when he came on in Gameweek 28 and would perhaps offer the patched-up back three more protection.

Latest News: Seamus Coleman (knock) has rejoined Charly Alcaraz (unknown injury) and Jack Grealish (foot) on the sidelines, while David Moyes hinted at further issues when saying on Monday that the Toffees have "got a couple of things which I won't reveal at the moment". We have to be prepared for a teamsheet shock or two, then (there was nothing obvious on the fitness front at Newcastle), but that aside, we will not be expect much to change given that Moyes a) doesn't like to tinker much with a winning side and b) isn't prone to much rotation, even in busy periods. Everton also have an 11-day breather after their midweek game. The Toffees have been looking after Jarrad Branthwaite since he came back from a long-term lay-off, and indeed he only started one of the two matches when Everton last had a Saturday-Tuesday turnaround three weeks ago. While he may be beyond that point of caution now, it wouldn't be a huge shock to see Michael Keane step in for him for one game. Further forward, Beto will be hoping he has done enough to keep his place up top with a goal in Gameweek 28 (Thierno Barry also scored off the bench!). While Moyes said it was possible he could field the two strikers together, he did add that it was not "something I'd be doing all the time". Dwight McNeil was a surprise starter over Tyrique George and Harrison Armstrong on Tyneside but may have performed sufficiently well to see off their challenges for now.

Latest News: Kevin (foot) is the only definite absentee for Fulham on Wednesday but there is (at least) one doubt beyond that. Marco Silva initially gave little away on Harry Wilson (ankle) and Joachim Andersen (illness), saying that there'd be some "late decisions", but later in his pre-match presser, Andersen was passed "100%" fit and Wilson was confirmed as a doubt. That could present Samuel Chukwueze with a route back into the side, then, meaning it's not an either/or with Oscar Bobb, although there is the option of moving Alex Iwobi to more advanced role or using Emile Smith Rowe, Ryan Sessegnon or Josh King on the wing. On-paper rotation risks like Raul Jimenez and Smith Rowe started in both the weekend and midweek fixtures in the last quick turnaround, so with Fulham's tails up, perhaps Rodrigo Muniz and King will have to be content with substitute roles again. Silva meanwhile suggested that Sasa Lukic was still trying to recapture full match fitness after his recent lay-off, which may mean more bench duty for him. It's not a given that Andersen walks straight back into the team, either, after Silva hailed Issa Diop's contribution on Sunday as "crucial". Diop is observing Ramadan (something that may affect his energy levels), however, and Andersen has only been benched once in the league - after a comeback from an Achilles injury - since he made his Fulham debut.

Latest News: Daniel Farke "expects" Joe Rodon to be fit to face Sunderland, after a scan on his hamstring revealed no damage. Farke also "hopes" to have James Justin (gashed leg) available, despite the defender requiring stitches in his leg after Saturday's game. The Leeds boss added that Justin was a "tough boy", finishing his team news round-up by saying that he expects only Noah Okafor (hamstring) to be out. As for the possibility of rotation, Farke seemed to downplay the likelihood of that - or at least, changes made just to freshen things up - by saying "if you're not capable to recover after 72 hours, then you shouldn't play professional football". The Leeds boss also highlighted the fact that there was no travel involved for the Whites this week, with his side enjoying successive home matches. He didn't, however, rule out the possibility of horses-for-courses changes. Farke could throw caution to the wind against poor travellers Sunderland, for example, playing Lukas Nmecha alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin and perhaps sacrificing Ilia Gruev in midfield. Willy Gnonto and Daniel James are further attacking alternatives, although neither player has started a league game since November. Jaka Bijol will be on standby if either Justin or Rodon fails to recover.

Latest News: Arne Slot expects Liverpool to be without Florian Wirtz (back) for not just Tuesday's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers but also the swift rematch in the FA Cup on Friday, so we're not expecting to see him return. Elsewhere, Alexander Isak (ankle) will likely be out until April and Wataru Endo (foot), Conor Bradley (knee) and Giovanni Leoni (knee) are on the long-term injury list. Jeremie Frimpong returned from injury as a substitute in Gameweek 28 and could start in midweek. While Slot urged caution with his minutes, an hour or so at Molineux (followed by a cameo/rest in the cup) would perhaps set him up nicely for Galatasaray next week. Slot will also be mindful of avoiding Joe Gomez, who started on Saturday, breaking down, as he has often done in the past. If he doesn't fancy either player to start, Curtis Jones could step in at right-back, a role he filled in Gameweek 27. Jones is a rested option in midfield, too, but the Reds have hardly been overworked lately - they've just had two midweeks off - and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the same front six players start again. The Liverpool boss has tinkered more frequently at left-back, so it's possible Andrew Robertson comes in for Milos Kerkez, as happened in the last weekend-midweek turnaround.

Latest News: There was no surprise that we didn't get clear-cut news on Erling Haaland (knee) and Nico O'Reilly (ankle) in Pep Guardiola's presser. Haaland missed the win over Leeds United on Saturday, while O'Reilly hobbled off in the second half. Guardiola said Haaland "feels much better" before adding that he would "decide after training" whether either player would feature. There's not much else to go, then, other than O'Reilly mouthing "not good" to Bernardo Silva when he hit the turf at Elland Road - which is clutching at straws. One of Omar Marmoush or Rayan Cherki (who Pep said had his "best game" on Saturday) would likely make way if Haaland is fit to start, with Antoine Semenyo's role (split striker/attacking midfielder) being tweaked accordingly. As for a potential O'Reilly deputy, Tijjani Reijnders (who came on for the 'out of position' defender in Gameweek 28), Phil Foden and Nico Gonzalez are all possibilities in the middle of the park.

On the injury front, we didn't hear anything new but Lisandro Martinez (calf) shouldn't be far away based on previous reports. Elsewhere, Carrick said last Friday that Mason Mount was "getting closer" to a recovery but we've been hearing that for a while, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he again missed out alongside Patrick Dorgu (hamstring) and Matthijs de Ligt (back). Carrick has kept things very settled since his appointment, with eight players starting every game and his alterations being mostly enforced: Matheus Cunha and Yoro in for Dorgu and Martinez. He even resisted the urge to rotate in United's last weekend-midweek turnaround, naming the same team. Benjamin Sesko did force his way into the starting XI on Sunday, however, coming in at the expense of Amad Diallo.

Latest News: Jacob Ramsey has shaken off the bug that saw him taken off at half-time on Saturday but Nick Woltemade is now ill and hasn't been in training over the last few days. Eddie Howe said Newcastle would give Woltemade "every chance" to be available but it sounds like he may miss out, and it's possible that other players could be hit by the illness between Howe's presser and kick-off on Wednesday. On the injury front, Howe said Tino Livramento (hamstring) is ahead of schedule but added that this match may come just too soon for the defender. Lewis Miley (dead leg), Fabian Schar (ankle), Bruno Guimaraes (hamstring) and Emil Krafth (knee) remain out, too. One thing's for sure: we're going to see changes, not just because of the Everton defeat but also because the Magpies have had more games than any other Premier League team in 2026, playing every weekend and every midweek throughout the calendar year so far. Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes are probably the leading candidates to come into the side, with Woltemade bowing out regardless of fitness and potentially Anthony Elanga following suit. With Man City and Barcelona to follow over the next week or so, we could also see Yoane Wissa up top for this one. Joe Willock is an option in midfield, perhaps if Joelinton needs managing following his recent return from injury, while Sven Botman is an alternative at the rear. Howe could even go with three at the back, to shoehorn Botman in without dropping his favourites, Lewis Hall and Dan Burn. There are also question marks between the posts, with Nick Pope poor on Saturday - not that Aaron Ramsdale has really convinced when he's been given the chance.

Matz Sels (groin) returned earlier than expected for that match, taking his place between the posts. Pereira shook things up in the second half at Brighton, changing to a back five and getting a tune out of his team as a consequence. Jair Cunha, who was decent upon his introduction, is at the front of the queue if his manager does opt for three centre-halves. There may even be a change at full-back/wing-back, too, with Neco Williams having a torrid afternoon on the south coast and substitute Luca Netz performing pretty well after replacing him. Omari Hutchinson may drop out, having been hooked with Williams early in the second half at the Amex, while Callum Hudson-Odoi seemed to be playing through injury on Sunday. He did, however, then go on to say there were "one or two minor doubts", and there are suggestions on social media - and they are only rumours, it must be stressed - that Robin Roefs is one of those affected. Melker Ellborg will step up to the starting XI, if there is any truth in that. Sunderland's last weekend-midweek turnaround saw Le Bris make only one change, swapping out Chemsdine Talbi for Nilson Angulo. It could very well be the same alteration that the Wearsiders' boss makes this time, although Bertrand Traore is a more natural fit on the right flank. It's more of a question of fitness with Traore, who is just back from six weeks out but who at least got minutes against Bournemouth at the weekend. It's difficult to see much changing in an injury-hit defence, while Le Bris said the midfield four of Granit Xhaka, Enzo Le Fee, Noah Sadiki and Habib Diarra were "connected in such a positive way" and "meant to play together". Wilson Isidor for Eliezer Mayenda is a possibility up top but the latter scored at the weekend and will probably get the nod again.

Latest News: We won't hear from Igor Tudor until after the Gameweek 29 deadline, so the latest Spurs team news is lacking at the time of writing. We're not expecting to see Wilson Odobert (knee), Destiny Udogie (hamstring), Lucas Bergvall (ankle), Ben Davies (ankle), Rodrigo Bentancur (hamstring), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), James Maddison (knee) or Dejan Kulusevski (knee), based on their previous estimated timelines, while Cristian Romero serves the final game of a four-match suspension. The one question mark is Djed Spence, who missed out on the Fulham defeat but only because of a minor calf issue. Archie Gray may have to continue at left-back if Spence remains out, although Souza is also an option there. Richarlison and Mathys Tel made positive impacts off the bench at Craven Cottage and could get their chances here, while you'd think it's only a matter of time before Radu Dragusin makes way after recent displays - it's just a question of whether Kevin Danso is ready to start after his recent spell out. Tudor has already shown tactical flexibility by using different systems across his first two games in charge; the problem is that none of them are really working. There's a great deal of uncertainty (Will he go with two strikers? Will he move Randal Kolo Muani wider after Conor Gallagher's poor showing on the right on Sunday? Will Xavi Simons keep his place after being hauled off early at the weekend?) about his selection on Thursday, then.

Latest News: Pablo Felipe (calf) will sit out another West Ham match in midweek but aside from the forward and the suspended Freddie Potts, the Hammers have no other declared absentees for Gameweek 29. Nuno Espirito Santo has kept a very settled side recently, changing only one position - the slot vacated by Pablo and Potts - over the last four Gameweeks. It'd be a surprise if he overreacted to the Liverpool defeat, too, as West Ham matched their hosts for xG and were undone by three deflections. Jean-Clair Todibo may well come back in at centre-half if Nuno is feeling particularly ruthless, while the West Ham boss could opt for Callum Wilson - as he did in Gameweek 25 - over Soungoutou Magassa if he's feeling bold enough to go with two up top. Given the home form of Fulham, it seems less than likely.

Latest News: Ladislav Krejci returns after serving a one-match ban on Friday, while Hwang Hee-chan (calf) is also back from injury. As Rob Edwards said himself, that leaves Wolves with a "fully fit squad". It'll be interesting to see what sort of team Edwards names for this game: does he try and build momentum after Friday's win over Aston Villa or, with relegation to the Championship looking inevitable, does he preserve a few of his regulars for the swift rematch with Liverpool in three days' time and have a tilt at the FA Cup? If it's the latter, Krejci (for Toti Gomes, who had been out for months before starting on Friday), central midfielder Angel Gomes and forward Tolu Arokodare could all come into the thinking, along with David Moller Wolfe and Rodrigo Gomes at wing-back. There is one player we can pretty confident is going to start: Andre sits out Friday's cup tie against Arne Slot's side through suspension, so there's scant reason to rest him here.
