THE TEAM

A Chelsea fan intent on breaking the top 10k, Tom worked on the social media and video parts of FFScout before becoming Sam’s deputy in 2025. Editorial

Neale Rigg – Editor. Newcastle United fan and FPL veteran, Neale is still searching for that elusive top 1k finish. He joined the team in 2018 after years of loitering and now spends his time as a ‘Pep roulette’ guru, trying to second-guess Premier League managers while writing the Team News.

Profile photo for TomTom Freeman – Deputy Editor. Tom has a staggering record in FPL having finished five times in the top 1k and another three times in the top 10k. A moderator before moving full-time into the Deputy Editor position, Tom dedicates his spare time to eyeing up differential Aston Villa options.

Paul McKinnon – Head of Content. The site’s first full-time contributor, Paul was previously lead writer for WhoScored. On board since 2009, he was FFS Editor for a number of years before taking on a more varied role. Paul prefers FPL Draft, as well as staying out of the limelight.

Profile photo for MarcMarc Jobling – Staff Writer. A full-time editorial member since 2021, this versatile Newcastle fan splits his writing time between FFScout, sister sites and various signed partners, alongside some podcast and video duties. Marc doesn’t like coffee or tea, while his jokes have an uncanny ability to miss.

Meet The Team 24Louis Roberts – Staff Writer. Louis’ main focus is our sister-site, Fantasy Football Community (FFC), covering a large range of games from FPL and UCL Fantasy to Bundesliga and Serie A Fantasy. FPL Greyhead. Andy, known as FPL Greyhead on site, writes the weekly humorous round-up of the ‘Great and the Good’ of FPL managers. When he’s not analysing the best managers around, Greyhead enjoys partaking in the popular community competition ‘Strikers Keepers, Losers Weepers’.

Rotation FPL. Having started playing FPL at the age of 8 in 2008/09, Rotation has grown up with FPL and joined the moderation team in 2018/19. Ted acted as the lead Moderator and then as Community Manager, before leaving to take up a role in the Football Data industry.

TorresMagic™. The moderator from Down Under has been around for as long as anyone can remember (probably longer). He can mostly be found patrolling the Dead Zone (12am to 6am UK time). Custodian of the very popular community competition ‘Last Man Standing’.

Rainy. Having lived just across the downs from Nick Hornby, and now in an equally verdant corner of North America, grey skies mean home comforts for this Dead Zone denizen. Enjoys a new player, a price change, missing an Eliteserien deadline and believing he’ll best a top 3k FPL finish.

RedLightning. Used to be a strong chess-player but now prefers FPL, which he started playing in 2009/10. An active member of the FFS moderation team since 2016 and also runs a number of community mini-leagues including Top 10k Any Season and the January to May League.

G-Whizz. G-Whizz is an ex-South Londoner living in Bournemouth, who (at his age) doesn’t take life too seriously, except for when life includes FPL and clean sheet odds. Always up for a chat and usually found buzzing around on match days and the Dead Zone or moderating the YouTube chat.
