Gameweek 28 concludes tonight with the hotly-anticipated Merseyside Derby. Bragging rights are up for grabs in Liverpool, and for us fantasy managers so are double gameweek points. The Dugout Discussion opens for the fourth day on-the-bounce, as team news from Anfield emerges…

Liverpool XI: Reina, Kelly, Skrtel, Carragher, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Gerrard, Spearing, Downing, Carroll, Suarez.

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Pienaar, Stracqualursi, Anichebe.

Kenny Dalglish names an attacking line-up, desperate to put an end to his prolonged set of horrendous results. Andy Carroll partners Luis Suarez, and Steven Gerrard returns to the starting eleven.

Celebrating 10 years of continuous employment this week, David Moyes could see his side leap-frog their city rivals with a win. It’s surprising then that, despite his winner against Spurs, Nikica Jelavic is dropped to the bench along with John Heitinga. In their place, Denis Stracqualursi and Phil Jagielka come in.

Follow the game as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

      Unlikely, I'd say.

I imagine it's more likely Berbs plays in Europa league and Rooney in the league game.

SAF would rather win the Prem than Europa league, imo. Rooney strikes me (pun not intended) as the least liable to rotation out of all Utd's attacking players.

Could be wrong though. Utd fans probably know more about it than I do.

Unlilely....Fergie was on about Rooney going on a streak and wanted 40 goals from him. So I think he'll play every game from here on in.

What to do with Nani Tosey? I thought he was the sound choice after I saw he got rested midweek.... then he got injured in training the morning before the game. Might have to keep him for this week.. Only worry is that if he doesn't start again, then I have to keep him again as they have Fulham at home. Bish!

Unlucky mate, u should stick to your guns, let's face it, the people on here no sod all 😉

IMO if you are easily led then you'll make rash decisions no matter what. Everyone is an "expert" on here, but it's down to the individual to listen or not to advice!

True, problem is on here you get someone having a good season, they come on and give advice and because their doing well, people take it as the gospel. It's funny the number of people who come on here when they are doing well but soon disappear the next season if their not doing so well, it's pretty lame.

Most people I consider to be great for advice and have been pretty consistant over the years, are having a poor season, I just think that's the way it's gone this year

      Can't think like that mate!

Last night was Gerrards first 9o mins of the season. Also up until last night he'd omly scored 2 goals, both pens. Plus Liverpool were on a nasty run of 3 straight losses.

Your logic/thinking behind not having Gerrard was sound!

Why is everyone assuming 2 baps for Suarez? He's my captain and I would love it to happen. But baps seem really unpredictable this year and assists dont seem to count for much. I remember when Liverpool played West Brom away, won 2-0, Suarez was easily the best player and got both assists - no baps. Had him in my team then too.

Really stuck with what to do with my team! loads of opinions from people...

So a lot of people are saying bench Moses and play Siggy, which I find strange as Moses looks hot after last week and Fulham look they could hold off the swans? thoughts?

Also people are saying play Skirtel over Kelly, so do people think Liverpool will keep a clean sheet?

I'm playing Moses fwiw, but my team is set up in a way that I can play him and I don't have Siggy. Wigan have to win and WBA are as good as safe from relegation. Moses might break his home game duck this week 😛 I would play Kelly over Skrtl, Liverpool have a FA cup game after deadline and I think QPR will nick a goal or two.
