I hate double Gameweeks. So often false dawns for Fantasy managers, they can promise so much and deliver so little leaving you frustrated and left to clear the ugly remnants of some hurried squad surgery. Then again – the announcement of the latest slew of doubles may just have left the door ajar for me to close the mini-league gap on Mark. Our host was certainly wriggling uncomfortably in his chair during today’s recording, pondering the damage that the Gameweek 34 blanks could inflict and the surge in points that Gameweeks 35 and 36 could bring.

In truth we hardly had time to digest the full picture before dragging ourselves into the studio. Like giggling schoolgirls at a One Direction concert, we were giddy with excitement and largely incoherent with our speech. Still, in and amongst the usual regulars, you might just find something of value amongst the jibberings.

Haha they sounded genuinely taken aback by what they just found out before they went on air. Brilliant.

      hopefully 3-3

Ba Hattrick and then Pardew thinks he has won the game so he benches Simpson/Willimson on 65th minute and then Suarez scores a hattrick

Feeling a punt and going for Verm (C), he’s got 31 points in his last 3. QPR are without Cisse, anyone agree?

Nadal v Murray in the SF of the Miami Masters today. Murray has won 6 of the last 8 between the two on hard court.

    Nadal – 8/13

    Murray – 5/4

Who do you fancy to win it?

    Shazzamalone says:

Greetings all. I have a slight dilemma I was hoping some of you fine folks could help me with. I’m currently sitting in the top 1.5k and on top of all my mini leagues (only just in two of the leagues) and I’m contemplating taking a 4 point hit for the first time this season.

    My team reads as follows:

    Kenny/Vorm
    Simpson/Williamson/Taylor (SWA)/Evans/Hangeland
    Bale/Valencia/Sigurdson/Dempsey/Walcott
    Rooney/RVP/Yak

I’m toying with the idea of replacing Hangeland with Cahil and Yak with Cisse (who I regrettably transferred out couple weeks back). I have the exact cash to do this exchange and the only reason I am contemplating it in this gameweek (rather than using a free transfer to rid of Kenny) is that both the players’ values will no doubt increase at which point I may not have the necessary funds.

Hangeland is an shoe-in for this weekend but if I wait, I may lose the opportunity to bring Cisse and Cahil in the week after due to price rises.

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

I have a pain in Miyaichi says:

Just joined to post a serious dilemma, and you all seem to know your stuff!

    Team for the week is:

    Hart
    Cahill/Verm/Evans (Kelly/Caulker)
    Walcott/Valencia/Ryo/Bale/BArfa
    Roo/RVP (Pog)

Surely Pog should be in the team but i need help on deciding who to take out? Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers!

    Tiki-Taka says:

Have I got team right for this GW?

    Friedel
    Kelly | Richards | Evans
    Bale | Moses | Valencia | Dempsey
    Rooney(C) | RVP | P.Cisse

Subs: Bogdan / Siggy / Enrique / Caulker

Caulker isnt available, I’m pretty sure Enrique will conceed at Newcastle and Friedel is more likely of a CS than Bogdan. Only real issue, is it right to bench Siggy? I know people have been burned by this before, but Spurs away I dont expect Swansea to do much, only problem is if they do something its likely he could be involved?

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”
