Robbed of the Fantasy Football riches of Man City and…errr…Man United, our Gameweek threatens to be a muted affair. Eight Premier League fixtures have other ideas, however, with a quintet of Saturday matches hopefully set to provide with goals and points aplenty.
With no early clash, it’s left to the three o’clock kick-offs to start proceedings, with keen eyes on the action at Craven Cottage where leaders Chelsea visit neighbours Fulham in a bid to flex their title chasing muscles. Fantasy managers are sure to have plenty invested in that clash and similarly Everton’s home encounter with West Ham and Arsenal’s trip to Stoke.
Hull City’s mid-table meet with Newcastle rounds off the afternoon, before attention turns to the latest installment of the Daniel Sturridge show, as the Liverpool striker seeks to notch for the eighth consecutive league outing: Southampton provide the opposition in what looks to be a game of goals.
As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for news of today’s teamsheets, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will accompany you through today’s matches right through until the final whist at St Marys.
