Does Eden Hazard’s Form Drop On The Road?

With Sergio Aguero starting a three match ban for violent conduct Fantasy managers will have to look beyond the reliable Manchester City striker for the armband. This week Eden Hazard is neck and neck with Alexis Sanchez in the Fantasy Football Scout captain poll but is the Chelsea midfielder a good option in Gameweek 4, when he travels to Swansea. But is Hazard a good armband option on the road? This FFScout Members article will take a look at his performances away from Stamford Bridge over the last few seasons to assess whether he is a reliable option.

Thanks for this. Will be certainly keeping an eye on his away stats this season.

Interesting article. Nice to seem some stats on it. I think I will still avoid captaining him on the road.

    Crikey that's surprising.

I'll just transfer him in and out with my FT every week from now on 😉

Excellent stuff. Might go with Zlatan or Gray

Any suggestions to my WC team much appreciated:

    Foster
    Shaw, Williams, Valencia
    Hazard, Sanchez, Redmond, Antonio
    Gray, Ibra, _____

    _____ = Lukaku or Giroud??

    (bench: Jaku, Amat, Capoue, 4.1)

Kaku. No Everton cover otherwise and you have Sanchez in case of an Arse riot

Wasn't thinking the same logic myself even though I would otherwise prefer Giroud as a shout. Thanks

If Sanchez gets 70 mins surely he is the option? Arsenal will do a job on Saints

Not reckon this is more to do with Mourinho's tactics away from home? I'd still class it as unknown for this season until we have some more data.

That's why I went back a few years too... Not just Mou.

But yes, this season will be interesting.

Costa also dips on the road, but his goal attempts in the box actually improves.

    I think I might (C) Costa

I like it. Good to see the numbers However, I think Swansea might be poor enough for me to still captain him this weekend. My other main option is Sanchez, but Southampton have decent defensive stats so far. Anyone else with this dilemma?

My wildcard plans are a little sketchy now that Lamela is a doubt.. Which one would you prefer:

    A) Keep Lamela+Lukaku and take it on the chin if Lamela doesn't play or makes a cameo

    B) Get Barkley + Bony(or Defoe) instead and use whats left over on other areas

My other two forwards are Ibra & Benteke.

      A

I've got the same two. You'll be kicking yourself if he comes off bench and bags. Plus Spurs some nice fixtures and surely straight back into their XI next week anyway, even if he rests this week

Great article. Two years ago I lived by this idea of only captaining Hazard at home and it really paid off. Last year Hazard was in my team for two weeks and that was it. This year I'd be excited to proven wrong. Hopefully this article will be followed up 🙂

This year's Fantasy Transfer market is ridiculous..... Aguero has 600k transfers out and has dropped 0.1!!! and im pretty sure that 500k odd are not wildcarders.....

Any other season he would be down 0.5 at the very least by the GW6 deadline..... Now he will be down 0.2.....

After being unlucky with the Walker and Shaw double rises, this really hurts

Which two should i go with of Lamela, Payet and Barkley? Got cash for all combos.

Yes but his away numbers rival the others' home numbers (sanchez excepted)

Anybody know if Lukaku has decent away stats? Looking to go for him over Haz for the armband this week!
