Just bought Howard for his favourable home games to cover Butland for Stoke's tough games. Found out that they rotate well till GW 28. But is the combo too expensive? I got Butland at 4.5 though.

Just a pointer, Butland's kept a fair number of CS in "tough" games. I have stuck with Butland-nonplayingGK since GW7 and till now Butland has more than exceeded my expectations.
Same was with me as I had Foster/Myhill and later did not sold Foster when he got injured. Myhill scored more in tough games including 18-pointer vs ManUtd

All the more reason to have Butland. This season is less about punts, more about getting the solid point-winners which are there.

I'd hold off on Payet for another week. Nothing much needs doing though and with 2FTs you need to do something. What about Ruddy -> Howard to cover Butland's tough fixtures? They rotate pretty well before you will likely WC.

I only watch football focus and motd on tv now. Got used to living abroad with no english tv, never got back in the habit. Still abroad but Ireland so we get the bbc and itv.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But I'm wondering if double Spurs attack is a good idea given they are away for 3 of the next 4 games, especially with Dembele back (he seems to negate Alli's output a little)?
I know what you mean about Alli ... i'd still hold strong on him. The attraction of having Barkley for two plumb fixtures is hard to ignore ... but if you have Lukaku and Baines you're well covered. If Everton end up with a blank in a few weeks it's one less thing to worry about also!
I would not sell Sou defence. Seems they are a much better unit with Forster back.
