Quiet so far today, so whilst we await news of Eboue’s FA appeal, here are just a few injury updates from around the Premiership.

Fulham’s Claus Jensen returned from injury last night to play in a Fulham reserve side beaten 1-0 by Reading. Jensen completed the game and so will obviously return to first team contention. Out of interest, Shane Long scored the winner for Reading, although if you have the young irishman in your squad, you should have thought about getting shot by now. With Doyle, Lita and Kitson all fit for more or less the first time this season, Long will struggle to see any further first-team action.

Over at Man City’s official site meanwhile there’s news that Paul Dickov will return on Saturday for the Wigan game, probably starting on the bench alongside Mpenza. The site also confirmed that Vassell, Sinclair and Onuoha will all miss this game. Sinclair’s absence is perhaps the most significant. This should mean Trabelsi holds off Sun Jihai to remain in midfield for what is a 2-match gameweek for City.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
