Everton’s Cahill has been struck down with metatarsal injury and is out for the season. Cahill could be seen to turn his ankle over as he landed from an aerial challenge against Sheffield United and was subbed on 55 minutes. It turns out that Cahill has in fact, broken his fifth metatarsal.

This is obviously a massive blow for Everton and for Fantasy Managers who invested, once more in Cahill, after his return from a knee injury. It means that Osman is likely to win his place back in the Everton side and could also mean that Moyes will be forced to keep with a 4-4-2 formation, so Beattie’s could continute to get a run in the side.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
