What a miserable week for the Gunners. Dumped out of the Champions League by Alex’s salmon-like qualities from set pieces and now they’ve gone and lost their talisman, Henry, for the rest of the season. Henry suffered groin and stomach injuries in the game against PSV and, after further assessment of the damage, has been ruled out for 3 months.

Now Arsenal must wait to hear whether Adebayor will be handed a further ban for “improper conduct” after today’s FA hearing. He could well face another 2-match suspension. That would be another hammer blow for Arsenal, leaving them with a front line of Baptista, Aliadiere and Walcott until April. All 3 could be potential bargains for Fantasy Managers, however, given Arsenal’s current run of misery, I’d hesitate before snapping any of them up.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
