United have been boosted by the news that both Saha and Solskjaer should return to first team action before the end of March. Both are exptected to be available for the Blackburn game at Old Trafford [source]. Solskjaer has apparently successfully undergone minor surgery while Saha’s hamstring injury, which looked likely to keep him out for a month, is not as serious as first thought.
Good news for United and possibly for Fantasy Managers, although if you were thinking of swooping for Alan Smith with the promise of a run of games, this news should force you to think again. It appears that Smith will play in today’s Cup Quarter Final, and perhaps again against Bolton next weekend. After that, he’s likely to be benched with these two returning from injury.
