Chelsea are without John Terry for the clash against Spurs. Terry has not been passed fit to play by Chelsea’s medical staff and does not appear in the 16. Mourinho does however, expect Terry to be available for the City game on Wednesday. Elsewhere, Jose has opted to bring in Ferreira for Makelele. Diarra moves from right-back to midfield.

Spurs meanwhile are lining up without Robinson, Jenas and Keane while Jol drops Gardner and Malbranque to the bench and rests Chimbonda. He brings in Cerny in goal, Stalteri at right-back and Rocha in the centre of defence. Ghaly lines up in midfield alongside Zokora, Tanio and Lennon. Defoe partners Berbatov as expected.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
