Here’s a bit of early team news for Saturday – Portsmouth will be without Noe Pamarot for their trip to Reading. The defender has apparently “done his back in” during Pompey’s training camp in Dubai and will miss Saturday’s game. There’s no indication as to how long he’ll be absent at this stage. It’s no biggie for Portsmouth however, as Harry will have Glen Johnson available once more after the loanee was ineligible last time out against Chelsea. Johnson will take Pamarot’s place at right-back with Traore continuing on the left. Lauren has still not recovered from his thigh injury, whilst Redknapp will be without Mendes through long-term injury and Davis who is suspended. Stefanovic however is back, he played in the UEFA charity game against United tonight so will be in the reckoning for Saturday, although the bench looks the most likely destination for the Portsmouth skipper.
Pamarot’s absence and the reshuffle, is unlikely to be a concern for Fantasy Managers – Portsmouth have kept just 1 clean sheet in 12 Premiership matches, so only Taylor, still employed in midfield and assigned set-pieces and pens, is really worth a look.
