Some pretty significant team news coming in from the Valley. First up, Darren Bent is set to miss the game against Newcastle this weekend after aggravating his old knee injury. It doesn’t appear like Pardew fancies risking him [source]. I’d expect Lisbie to come in alongside the returning Marcus Bent if Darren is indeed ruled out. It’s also been revealed that Andy Reid has gone under the knife to repair damage from his hamstring injury so will not return as reported earlier in the week. Indeed Reid will be out for anything up to 6 weeks. Season over for him then.
