Micah Richards is still a concern for City, with surgery on his calf injury looking a certainty. Richards was fit enough to appear for England on Saturday and is currently fit for City’s game at Newcastle. However, City boss Pearce has admitted that surgery will be required on Richards’ calf, although he hopes that this will be able to take place in the Summer [source]. There is however, some uncertainty as to whether Richards will be able to complete the season without a further spell on the sidelines. Fantasy Managers with Richards in their squad might be wise to study their options rather than risk losing him in the crucial closing weeks.
