James McFadden is in contention for a return to the Everton side after recovering from a broken foot. McFadden turned out for the reserves on Monday and will be in the squad for Everton’s Easter games. He’s unlikely to thrown into the side for the Fulham game but may appear from the bench. A start against Bolton on Monday seems more likely which means that those managers looking at James Vaughan as a potential bargain, should think again as McFadden is likely to be employed in the Cahill role, off Johnson in a 4-5-1.
