Everton have been boosted by the news that young striker, James Vaughan, may yet return to action this term. Vaughan suffered a severed artery in the Bolton clash on Monday and was released from hospital last night. While there is no serious ligament damage, the injury is swollen and is expected to keep him out until the end of this month. Vaughan’s absence is likely to mean a return to the side for James McFadden who has recently recoverd from a broken foot.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
