Newcastle have lost Damien Duff for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. The irish winger picked up the injury in the defeat at Portsmouth at the weekend and although X-rays revealed no break, his ankle is badly swollen and will keep him out for the rest of the term. Duff had been playing on the left of defence for Roeder’s side and his absence will see a recall for Babayaro with Nzogbia playing on the left of midfield.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
