Andy Johnson has undergone a scan on his ankle injury suffered against West Ham. The scan has confirmed a sprain but Everton revealed little on just how long the injury would rule him out for. While it’s good news that Johnson hasn’t suffered any serious damage, a sprain is likley to put the striker out for the weekend clash with United [source]. Everton are, predictably, keeping quite on his prospects for that match and will leave it to the very last moment before ruling Johnson out. With Ferdinand absent for United, Johnson‘s injury will be a major relief to Ferguson. A McFadden/Beattie partnership against United looks likely so McFadden, classified as a midfielder in many Fantasy Games, could be worth a look.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
