The ankle injury suffered by Matt Taylor in Pompey’s victory over Liverpool on Saturday may not be as bad as first feared. Taylor’s ankle is bruised and swollen and the player is due to undergo a scan tomorrow to assess the full damage [source]. Taylor will miss Pompey’s visit to Everton at the weekend but could return for the final game of the season, at home to Arsenal.
