It appears John Terry broke a toe in Chelsea’s recent pre-season victory over Samsung Bluewings, however, there’s no details as yet as to how serious this could be for Jose, McClaren and us Fantasy Managers. Terry was taken off at half-time in what appeared to be a routine and planned substitution but apparently had treatment after the game. There is talk that he will be strapped and injected in order to make Chelsea’s next friendly game against Beckham’s LA Galaxy at the weekend – a risk that surely won’t be taken if Jose considers the injury could jeopardise his skipper’s early season. We’ll wait and see what happens on Saturday.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
